Thanks for the offer. I already own an end condo on a high floor away from the new road. I like living there. The JBC is a very well run complex by the management and the committee. I feel sorry for the many small convenience stores. The new Mini Mart, which opened about a week ago, will hit them hard. There is no way they will be able to compete, as the Mini Mart is open around the clock and has a lot more stock for sale than the small shops. There is also an oversupply of many small and very ordinary restaurants as well. When I drive or walk past them, I don't see too many customers, if any.

I must agree with you on England importing their best sportsmen from other countries for a long time, instead of assisting homegrown talent to be their sporting heroes. I don't quite understand that and it is rather sad.

I am jealous. It takes me longer too fly from Darwin, which is only roughly a third of the distance of the proposed Air Asia flight from Kiwi land. Coming from Darwin I have to fly to Singapore first, change to a different airline, with a long waiting time before being able to catch a connecting flight to Bangkok. Luckily, I only make a trip back to Oz for a few weeks once a year these days.
