Hey KJ. EVA is showing delux class for 917 for $883. What is delux class like? how does it compare to United biz class of coach?? Inquiring minds want to know.

BigD I fly out of SFO. To find UA best price I log onto travelocity and choose the option of flexible trip departure but display only UA. Then I choose lowest fare and work the dates to find out when it is availble that fits my schedule. I then take those dates go back to the ula website and book the ticket. Several times the ua website then gave me a fare that was even lower than the travelcity fare. Right now the lowest fare on ua is 690 but they will probably drop lower after July 1. They tend to leave the fares up when it is more than 90 days out. But given fuel cost i doubt UA will get under 625 this year. EVA is still flying for $572 KJ you prick you got me looking at 9/17 and now I am tempted to book just to hear you do a live stand up at an FLB party!!

Much easier, after every meal just have your BG feed you some of her Bugs. You puke up everthing and presto after a few weeks lost all the weight.

Big d you got any suggestions on a good price for the marriot?

I like majestic suites (1350baht)very nice rooms, nice bed, quite, good a/c right on sukumvit and nana. But the rooms are small. Has room safe. Nana Hotel (800baht)has got good beds but the hotel and rooms look a little worn for the wear. but Nana Hotel has got a great breakfast and the parade of BG at breakfast is fun to watch. no walk of shame at Nana. More like a BG runway. Amazing to see the beautys some of the geezers w walkers and on respirators have with them. If you want to try priceline I have gotten both the Sheraton Grande sukumvit and Westin Grande sukumvit for $55 and $65 but you pay tax on top of that. The Grottino Residence has gotten raves on BKK tonight and I plan on staying ther in July to check it out. I have overdone nana and want to work out soi cowboy for a couple of days. For 1300-1500 baht i'd say majestic or try Grottino.

Last time I flew to BKK in sept (last year to be precise) I paid $525 on United. After august the price drop substantially. If you are flexible on what days you can leave then you should be able to get a fare between 600- 700 on United. It is the June -Aug season where United charges a fortune. Price might drop a bot if they add a second flight from Tokyo to bangkok. Until then oh well. If you are flying from boston they will probably route you through germany connecting to a Luthansa flight.

Jus a note Jw etc a great hotels, but for 1500 baht you can get majestic suites in bangkok. Right on sukumvit. at corner of nana. Great facilities very nice rooms lthouhg they are small. Very quite, great A/C, granite and marble counters etc. Very freidnly and helpful staff. Sort of like a mini JW. at a mini price. According to the biddingfortravel.com website you can get the JW for $70 but everytime I have tried (April 2004 I got a room for $60 us) I wind up with the westin grande sukumvit or the sheraton Grande sukumvit. Both are very nice but the sheraton is outstanding. I am a starwood preferred and they upgraded me to a suite. Lots of teak, marble big room cut flowers i was there with my TGF and she was very impressed.

I was at IT center in the Big C shopping mall. several of the vendors had used mobile phones for sale. Phone and prepaid calling cards ranged from 2000 baht to 3500 baht depending on the phone. Phones included chargers and calling card U chose the calling card plan. Some of the prepaids had monthly charges if not used but charge is waived if you add money to the card. 4 baht per minute seemd to be about the average for the prepaid cards some higher some lower but with diffrerent terms.
