Very nice job EP. Several years ago my wife and I made a very similar visit to the orphanage. My wife, says that I will have a very bad year if I don't do my penance, so I see another trip coming up when next in town in June.

This may be hard to believe, but Delta had a few very nice looking Thai FA's on the BKK to NRT flight yesterday. The NRT to SEA FA's were the expected but ugly grannies.

I am there right now. No noise and excellent location. Great pool. 300 baht guest fee if you bring back two or more (and get caught).

We used Mr Toom's service recently for transfer from BKK to Pattaya and again from Pattaya to Korat. The driver (Mr Toom's friend) was on time, courteous and provided excellent service. Price for BKK to Pattaya 1200 baht and from Pattaya to Korat 3000 baht. We felt kind of guilty paying only 3000 baht as the driver will have to repair some minor damage to his vehicle because we hit a dog at about 100 km/hr. I highly recommend Mr Toom's service.

Sounds like an excellent place for my needs. My wife, our three month old daughter, and I plan on staying there for three days before going to her village near Buriram.

Kikc69 - you lucky bastard. Seems like you were one of the few who got this "mistake" fare from NW. Sounds like it was only on-line for 12 to 18 hours.

Hi, I spent a night at the Sripatana last December with the gf. Price was 500 or 600 baht. Excellent hotel for the price. We had a big double bed. Didn't have time to use the pool, but it looked nice. Free but limited breakfast - but that was probably due to showing up right before they started cleaning up. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Thanks Bob - I guess I'll just wait until I get to Thailand. 14 days until wheels down in BKK then on to Pattaya, Khon Kaen, and a side trip to the Phils. Then I get to do it all over again at the end of December/January.

I just purchased this on Expedia for a BC seat on Northworst. Trip dates are 12/23/03 to 01/05/04. Christmas Eve(almost) and New Years in Pattaya - YOOHOO!!!! I plan on being at FLB by 1:30 AM - hope the party is still in full swing. [smiley=cheers.gif]

I am looking for any information on the Pattaya Hill Resort located at 29 Pratamnug Rd. Prices? Guest friendly? Available transportation to Pattaya and/or Jomtien? Impressions from anybody who has stayed there would be appreciated.
