It was a joke penalty. The Croatian defender just placed his hand on the shoulder of the Brazilian and the Brazilian fell down like he had been hit with a baseball bat. It was a blatant fraud. It reminded me of that other Brazilian Rivaldo standing by the corner flag and someone kicked the ball at his legs and he dropped to the floor holding his face.

So Brazil won the opening game but only thru faking a foul for a penalty and a bad ref. Croatia played very well and I expect them to go thru to the next round anyway.

Having spent a fair amount of time in China I sussed out that the British version of Chinese food is pretty piss poor and I would not go to Thailand to eat British Chinese food when you can get excellent Thai food and Chinese food cooked by Thai/Chinese people. Good luck with your venture anyway.

I used to stay down in that soi the first few times I went to Bangkok, The President Solitare was down there. Seems to be a lot more bars and restaurants now,it was pretty much dead going back 10 years ago. Nice pics, thanks.

I have met a graduate before,she was working in a bar on second road,I barfined her one night. She had a degree in English.I asked why she was working in a bar instead of an office job in Bangkok, more money was the answer.
