  1. I used his service on 22 September. Driver was on time with a clean newer car. No hassle pickup and ride to Pattaya. I'll use his service again.
  2. Depends on two things. How's the economy doing and how hard does swine flu hit?
  3. So far this trip I had two excellent meals served. The food came out of the kitchen quickly and there was a fair selection of freelancers for desert available.
  4. Thanks for for the update. I usually fly into Sydney. I'll look for the smoking room on my next trip to OZ.
  5. SFO is non smoking.
  6. This trip I flew from Philadelphia, PA a non smoking airport to Dulles (IAD) that has smoking rooms in the terminal after you clear security. Does anyone know if any other airports offer this? BTW UA uses Boeing 777 that has seat back video screens in economy for the flight to Narita.
  7. Tropical Bert's has a separate entrance for the rooms. No hassle and they serve good food. I haven't stayed there but I did go through the rooms and they are nice. Guest house is located on Soi 6/1 and 2nd Road.
  8. Check out the Marriott at the Royal Garden Shopping Center. I stayed there a few years ago and really enjoyed my stay. Great location.
  9. If you like ANA try S'pore Air largest selection of stunner FA, I've ever flown with.
  10. Let's not forget Germany and the UK.
  11. I'll take the current WTO ruling and I'm more then willing to wait for the Boeing decision.
  12. Looks like my position on the never ending EU funding has been vindicated. Thank you WTO.
  13. I'll stop in when I'm in town next week. I like the sound of that. Next week in Pattaya. Three days till wheels UP............
  14. It's been a few years since I stayed there. The condo I stayed in was a large studio with kitchenette. Big shower area and larger room then the big room I stay in at Sky-Top.
  15. Check out Yensabai Condo. I've stayed there a few times and liked it. Not far from WS about a 12 or 18 minute walk. www.pattayarentaroom.com
  16. I've stayed at the Marriot and it does have direct access to Beach Road.
  17. and if you stay at the Queen Vic it will be the last trip to Thailand. Check out Pattaya Park Hotel in Jomtiem. I've stayed there a few times with my family and it's away from the night life but close enough to Walking Street.
  18. I've stayed at the Pig & Whistle. Good value for the Baht and they have rooms for 750. Plus they serve a good fish & chip.
  19. I've eaten pizza from a few places in Pattaya and the best I'd consider mediocre if I bought it in Philly. I could damn near say the same for almost every restaurant in Pattaya.
  20. I had a lousy slice of cardboard at Pattaya Pete's Beer Garden a few month's ago. I'll give him another try next month when I breeze into town.
  21. I agree with jacko book early. There are places that don't hit you up for the 'Gala New Years Dinner'.
  22. Check out Tropical Bert's on soi 6/1.
  23. What a strange little man.
  24. Bruce, I like the food so much, I plan on having a couple of meals there when I'm in pattaya next month.
