  1. Does a refresh fix it? It should. I see that when the connection is slow sometimes.
  2. Six years seems such a light sentence. I'll keep an eye out.
  3. Below is an email I received from Tapatalk claiming they have a chat feature. I haven't tried it (well, send one unanswered chat hello) and was wondering if it worked. If you want to try it, follow the instructions and say "Hi" to me if you can't think of anyone else to send it to. I will let you know in this thread if I got anything. The email (which you perhaps also received) has images which I could not get the forum to accept, so if you have the email, refer to that for pictures...here you just get the text. Its now faster than ever to chat privately with other Tapatalkers.

BTW, a friend just got back from Vientiane, Laos, where he obtained a double entry tourist visa this week.
  5. 15% complete? When did they announce the 3 year completion date, i.e., when did the clock start on this 3 years? It's been a year or so, and at 15% complete, it looks like at least 5 more years of this.
  6. That's nice I'll go my way, you go yours.
  7. There's a sub forum on the first page that will tell you. I don't recall what it says, but it's something about how to join the forum.
  8. Probably because you've not applied for member status.
  9. Aside from turning off my sound completely, is there any way to get rid of that awful, intrusive, and unasked for music that plays when watching the Walking Street cams?
  10. You mean a scooter or a big bike? In any event, having traveled long distances on a big bike in the USA, I can say I much prefer traveling by car...air con, music, comfy seats..you know, that sissy stuff
  11. Some of us like the freedom to travel, to stop where we want, to change destinations, to do whatever, that a car provides.
  12. I have had a car here for 7 years, though I drive it infrequently in Pattaya itself. I still have to think about which side is the driver's side when I approach the car, and still occasionally turn on the windshield wipers when I want to make a turn.
  13. It makes one wonder exactly who the "good" Buddhists are who need such a no-alcohol day. I don't know any myself, but then, most people I know are from the bar industry.
  14. BTW, it's likely that most of the gogos and bars will resume selling alcohol an hour or two before midnight tonight.
  15. Much of the staff from FLB came to our house and ate and drank till 6am this morning...it seems they didn't take the no-alcohol restriction very seriously.
  16. 12:40 and Insomnia emptying..music and lights off, but people still being served and drinking.
  17. 12:02 a.m. and the street is in full swing...just waiting for police.
