  1. Okay, you can send PMs now. Welcome to the board and I hope you have a good coffee klastch with ms. bouquetta!
  2. For fans of Seinfeld and Breaking Bad, this is a crack-up. Bryan Cranston (Walter White, of Breaking Bad) in his role as Seinfeld's dentist converts to Judaism (for the jokes, Jerry claims).
  3. Try doing it in a niqab! http://youtu.be/etS4NutIUto
  4. No, you can't. As only a registered user, you cannot use the PM function. Check the INTRODUCTION section on how to become a full member.
  5. I'll be going there tonight! Thanks for the report, Evil. Anyone else care to join?
  6. Made a small correction above.
  7. Where have all the Russians, Ukranians and other former Soviet visitors gone? Jomtien Beach today was empty of them...unless they are all sleeping in, there has been a mass exodus. I can't say I'm too distressed, but who will read all the Russian signage on all the restaurants and businesses all over town?
  8. Steve Mcqueen The Blob
  9. That's a shame about the butter..especially with the rather dry french bread and the baked potato. Maybe they should try a premium butter brand..it can't be that expensive, and that's a terrible place to skimp on quality. At least it's yellow!
  10. Patna, it seems they took one of our comments to heart and put in real butter (or margarine..can't really tell) rather than the strange whipped concoctions they were putting out when we went there. Also, no sauce on the steak....and no mixed up sauces either. Improvements are already happening
  11. See Evil's post above. He lists several.
  12. I have heard some strange things from lawyers, one was the truth. Well, this should frost your cookies! http://www.siam-legal.com/thailand-visa/Thailand-Retirement-Visa.php
  13. Fiddler on the Roof
  14. I seriously doubt that. BTW, was browsing a lawyer's site, one of many, that refers to the visa obtained within Thailand as a retirement visa (O-A Long Stay). I think they should be ashamed of themselves.
  15. You mean a "retirement visa"?
  16. Who knows? Maybe that was what they were doing before the NCPO?
  17. Yes, and New York, Los Angeles, and other metro areas.
  18. Go ask the notthenation website! That's where your links point for the images.
  19. Have you ever been to Pattaya? Maybe you didn't notice the huge number of English restaurants serving English food in the town? Who do you think eats there mostly? The French?
  20. From pattayadailynews..it may have seemed like a good idea at the time
  21. That may be the way it's presented in the deep South and hillbilly country, but if you tried Chinese food in a metropolitan area with a large population of Chinese, such as San Francisco, you'd not say that. San Francisco has a variety of Chinese food styles, Hunan, Szechuan, Cantonese to name a few, that provide a wide spectrum of choices.
  22. I think that your review covers the experience quite well, Evil. My ribeye, requested rare, was fine, although they did typically splash half of it with sauce, but at least, it was the sauce I had ordered (bleu cheese and wine). Perhaps putting sauce on half is seen as a compromise for those who like their steaks covered in sauce and those who prefer to add their own. It doesnt work, and just puts off both camps. The big disappointment for me was the creamed spinach though. I was really looking forward to that, but without cutting the spinach into small pieces, I got long strings of spinach that I had to wind around my fork to eat.
  23. Congrats. Looks like a good deal.
  24. You can do it now. Your account needed to be upgraded. Please keep your solicitation posts to this thread and do not insert them into other threads.
