I can sympathize. I was in the Majestic Grande a couple of months ago, and wanted to stay another night. I think these rates are actually higher now! They are certainly not based on any 25 baht for 2km + 5 baht/km after. For example, the 6th line down in the first group is Pratumnak from South Pattaya...60 baht. I'm on Pratumnak 750 meters from that station, not 9 km, and currently pay the exorbitant rate of 50 baht for a 3 minute ride at night. Now the sign specifies 60 baht for that ride, which should take you 9 km at the government specified rate (2 km (25 baht) + 7 * 5 baht (7km) = 9km). No part of Pratumnak is 9km from south Pattaya. It looks like they are using this as a license to screw the riders even more.

Was in Crazy House last night 0030 or so and it was barren of good lookers. I think there must have been lots of early barfines. The streets were packed with traffic last night, and singe gogos were SRO. . Mandarin had no seats at one point. . Then no girls! Spankys was devoid of customers or any women under 60kg when I got there at 1 am. A terrible night for the late hours. Harem was open again, Hot Tuna bar, across from FLB, reportedly got a 60 day closure for underage and drugs. That's the first outdoor beer bar closure I've seen. Apple Pub was open again. I mistakenly thought the other Brazilian player was Neymar due to the hair style, not knowing at that time that he had been injured. David Luiz, even though he fouled James Rodriguez during the match, showed him some compassion and empathy which raised my estimation of him a lot.
