Come on you guys i know the White Inn Hotel isnt the Buckhingham Palace of Hotels in Thailand but if we are all as friendly and pally and matey as we make ourselves out to be and bearing in mnd it is located within a good 1 minute speed walk from the FLB I would expect at least one good fellow boarder to make the effort to get some info or are we worried we may miss a round of drinks or someone steals our BG. Just take her with you ...i am sure she will willingly keep you company. ...By the way dont set out too fast because you will have a 1 minute speed walk back. REALLY LOOKING

Fonz, Thanks very much for this info. I had given up hope of getting any detail before you posted. A TG has booked this for me and actually paid 500 baht to reserve a room, so feel obliged to go with it. If i am not happy when i get there i will simply look elsewhere. Thanks again

Softrabbit, by the time i get to Bangkok i will have been on the go for 24 hours and will be desperate to get to Pattaya. No offence bud, but i would imagine a trip to your hotel would add at least an hour to my journey. However, if you could make your way to the airport i would be only to happy to share. E-Mailed them twice over a period of 6 days but never got a reply so decided to look elsewhere. Found this one recommended on this board khrongfa@ego.co.th . They got back to me within 12 hours with 1200baht(excluding tolls and airport parking) for private car. Will let you know how it goes

4th trip to Pattaya coming up in 3 weeks, this is over the space of 17 months. Best flight deal so far is this time around. Emirates---Glasgow-Dubai-Bangkok--£470. This is £60 cheaper than Eva which i used on my last trip in September. I also miss out the 5 hour wait in Heathrow. I like the idea of the break in journey just over half way there. 7hrs.25mins to Dubai and then 5hrs.55mins to Bangkok with just under 3hrs.wait in Dubai

I WILL BE IN PATTAYA IN 4 WEEKS TIME FOR 10 DAYS BUT THEN WILL BE MAKING MY WAY TO HAU HIN FOR A WEEK. I RECKON THE JOURNEY IS IN EXCESS OF 200 MILES SO A TAXI MAY BE A BIT PRICEY. HAS ANYBODY MADE THIS JOURNEY PREVIOUSLY? IF BY TAXI, HOW MUCH? IF BY BUS, IS THERE A SERVICE DIRECT OR IS IT VIA BANGKOK AND AGAIN HOW MUCH?

Does anyone know the name of the hotel halfway down walking street on the left coming from the beach road end or any other hotels in walking street?
