Two weeks ago i flew Cebu Pacific from BKK to Manila...Flight times are not great leaving BKK @ 1.10pm...ariiving Manila @ 5.30 pm....but the return Fare was a little over 5,000 baht. I was in AC for 7.30pm then had to hang around until by room was ready at 9.30pm(Pacific Breeze). Return from Manila to Bkk departs about 10pm. No frills with Cebu but no complaints either.

The Rockhouse in pictures with information.
conley replied to mulphy's topic in Bars/Gogos/Business Owners' Forum
I've stayed at the Rockhouse...i had no problems with it and the rooms are tidied and cleaned everyday. If the bed linen is not changed everyday and you have an issue with that then it will cost you 50 B to do so. Believe me Mulphy is such a good host that he will make up for that additional 50 b expense with the number of he drinks he will send your way when you are in his bar. I have visited Pattaya many times and stayed in numerous hotels but I've never had the same attention than I recieved from Mulphy and his wife, Noi. -
Mulphy...I for sure hope Ryan has a fantastic birthday,,,but i would like to know more importantly what you have a arranged for your bar when Scotland are playing first the Ukraine and then Georgia in their attempt to get to the Euro finals. I'm sure there must be enough Scots around wanting to take those games in...assuming you can get them on your tellies.....given that i watched Celtic v Inverness Caley in your bar surely you will get the internationals. BTW Ryan you are far too young to be mongering in Pattaya...that should be left to men and not boys like yourself.

Good idea....if you need any help in taking the photographs let me know.....I've got my own camera and will be there on the 6th October .

I've already booked Mr. Toom to pick me up at Bangkok Airport and whisk me down to Pattaya. My flight is due in at 12.30pm on Saturday 6th October. So, if there is anybody around at that time looking to share let me know.

I was in Pattaya in January with 5 mates who all stayed in the Pig & Whistle and everyone relocated before they left for home. There were numerous reasons why and an attitude from the managerand or owner that left a bit to be desired. It has a good reputaion for it's food though. I know nothing of the Flipper

Areca v. BJ Holiday Lodge v. Sandy Spring

You took the words right out of my mouth. -

Kev, You are dead right...he was a pain in the arse newbie and showed an arrogance and rudeness to Pattaya veterans that was totally outrageous. In his mind he became a board superstar and had something to say about almost every post and that was before he had been anywhere near Pattaya. Some of his postings defied belief. After his cherry trip he was exposed as a Walter Mitty and the last strands of credibility were eventually eroded. He took a kicking from this board. You say we all live and learn...yes.. but some learn faster than others...MR. T's attempts to book transport to meet him at Bangkok on his last trip and upcoming trip is clear evidence that the guy has great difficulty in grasping anything. I wonder who puts him on the plane at the other end. I apologise to the original poster for changing the subject
-
Dignity is something you lost a considerable time ago on this board and a thoughtful response is something you are incapable of. If your efforts to impress new boardies by remaining aloof to my post is irritating you then please feel free to send me your usual bile by PM. Something you have done on more than one occassion previously.
-
Will you ever learn....I swore i would never respond to anything you ever posted again...but this just sums you up. The guy gives you two phone numbers...two e-mail addresses and you decide it is best to send your enquiry via PM(a facility the poster can't access) on an Internet Forum. It's not that sending an e-mail is any more time challenging. I remember you tried to do similar with Mr.Toom. Shsssssssh. I await your predictable vile response. Pattaya be warned...his arrival is imminent

Mulphy's bar and guesthouse is called the Rockhouse..I've never been there but have seen pictures.the place looks good. So much so I have just booked one of the rooms for 12 nights in January. Check this out www.the-rockhouse.com

sabai inn vs. bj's holiday lodge
conley replied to ssornek's topic in Hotel and Accommodation Questions
Stayed in both. My preference is the Sabai Inn. Cheaper, bigger rooms, bigger bed and better shower area. -
I have used Mr.Toom on six seperate occassions and I have two friends who have both used him on four occassions. I have never, nor have my friends, experienced anything other than a good service at a very competitive price. We all have booked him again for our January trips. I will continue to recommend him. In my opinion you are not taking a risk.
-
Just back from Pattaya and again used Mr.Toom's service from the airport and back again. No problems and service was very good. I will continue to use him
-
IMO...there is no issue here irrespective of the airport of your arrival...it is a fast cab to Pattaya,
-
OK Fuck you all..I'll just travel alone.

Brawl with a Bahtbus driver
conley replied to comingtopattaya's topic in General Discussion about Pattaya
No excuse for throwing a punch...but i think you will have spoken to the driver of your destination. He has agreed to take you. In doing so you effectively have hired a taxi and in doing that have incurred the going rate for practically every taxi you ask for a price. No reason otherwise to charge you 100baht -
I have Mr.Toom booked to drive me to Pattaya. Anybody around at the same time let me know and we can share the taxi ride. I'm arriving from Dubai at 12.30pm and heading straight to Pattaya.
-
Travelling time will be reduced by 30 minutes I would think. Expect to pay the same as the rate currently being charged from the old airport Don Muang. I know Mr. Toom as already stated his charges will remain the same.

Sabai Inn, Soi.2. IMHO it is hard to beat at 700 baht a night for a Standard Room during low season. The Hotel location, although not in the thick of it, sees plenty of action on its doorstep and is a 10 minute bus ride from Walkin Street. Staff is great also. Hard to beat.

22 hours from my house, West coast of Scotland, to the Sabai Inn, Soi 2, Pattaya, flying Emirates out of Glasgow via Dubai,5 times and never paid more than £500.
