I agree with the food at TGC. I have eaten there many times and will continue to. The golf is well organized as well.

Sounds good. Will give it a try. Post a pic of the menu if you can.

Well done!!! Loved the first two of the of smiling kids. The scenery shots are excellent!!!

The time appears to be off. When I put in eastern U.S. where I am it is off by 1 hour. I certainly can live with it - better than I can living not being in LOS. The board is looking good!! Good job!

Tomatoes do not do well in the heat. Plant them in the coolest season, if there is one. In the southern U.S. they are planted as soon as the threat of frost has passed and are done when the heat of mid-summer arrives. Some type of cover over them may help. Ahh- a good plate of Beefsteak tomatoes straight from the garden is hard to beat. Even the store bought tomatoes here in the states are picked far from ripe and lose so much before they get to market. Good luck!

As far as their safety record - they implemented a requirement that the number of takeoffs = number of landings. It seems to be a good idea.

I flew Korean Air last year, Atlanta-Seoul (Incheon)- BKK, and thought they were great. The stewardesses were very easy on the eyes and as sweet as could be- especially on the Seoul-BKK leg (they were BKK based). I'd use them again.

I used http://www.learn-in-asia.com/ on Oct. 2nd. My flight arrived at 23:45 and it was almost 01:00 before I was ready to leave the airport. Driver was waiting with my name on a placard. We left the airport about 01:00 and arrived at the Residence Garden at 02:50. It was 1700bt including tolls. Decent A/C ride. No complaints.

Good one Hilly. Not to hijack, but it reminded me of a joke: A young couple were playing golf one day and had just teed off on a par four. The man hit a decent drive. His young bride sliced one off into a nearby cow pasture. After finding several balls that were not hers, the young man found a ball underneath a cow- directly between her back legs. Unable to get the cow to move, he lifted the cow's tail and said "It looks like yours Honey". The divorce is pending.

stevoman- I too booked with them a couple of weeks ago for my Oct. 2nd arrival. Same prompt reply as you got. I'll post my experience with them when I arrive (after I get my first soapie or ST).

I emailed them asking about joiner fees a few weeks ago. Their reply was that there would not be a joiner fee if the girl obeyed the rules and dressed appropriately. Since they didn't elaborate on what the rules were or what appropriate dress was, I booked elsewhere. Sounds like a nice place though.
