I thought about Boxing too. Definitely need to be in very good shape and high on punishment. But, I'd put MMA above Boxing in both departments

Not qualified to say whether it's more physically demanding, but since we tend to only look at the sports where we run and/or run into each other, I thought I'd toss Water Polo out there for discussion. Our high school team swam twice a day, did a ton of running and also various weight training. Lord knows what they do at the highest level. Anyway, racing back and forth, treading water, jockeying for position etc. etc. has gotta be pretty darned demanding.

Was thinking the same. Maybe the flight height is a factor......

Plenty of people here enjoy the game, particularly the WC. Winning our opener is the best thing that could have happened as it will get it more air-time outside of the Sports channels and the sports report on the news.

Nice one on Hotel California Gonzo . I finally got around to watching Big Lebowski a year or so back and was introduced to that version.

I generally buy a few double packs of steak when they're on sale so pay an average of $7.50 a lb. Give me a medium rare marbled New York or Rib Eye off the grill over a Filet Mignon any day of the week. As you say, there's a reason they wrap those filet's in bacon.
