1,200 baht for taxi from bangkok to pattaya?
gentlemangeoff replied to toom's topic in General Discussion about Pattaya
mkgross. Thanks very much for reporting on your experience of Mr Toom's taxi service. I shall use him in reliance on thei information provided by you. -
Soi 6 best place for shopping. 500 baht ST, 1000 baht LT. Oh sorry, you meant for food etc? Try Mikes Mall or Big C. Enjoy - little chance that you won't.

1,200 baht for taxi from bangkok to pattaya?
gentlemangeoff replied to toom's topic in General Discussion about Pattaya
Stevoman. I note you are thinking of Mr Toom for your taxi upon arrival in LOS in April. I am sure that we would all be interested in learning about the standard of car and driving provided. If anyone else is thinking of using Mr Toom, same same. I intend using him in May and will let you know about the service/car provided. Regards -

If anyone decides to travel with Mr Toom from BKK airport to Pattaya I am sure many board members would apprciate a comment about the service. Regards to all. -
Flash Basbo Thanks for the info. I would have thought it a good idea if Sabai made this clear on their website. I think a lot of boardies are heavily influenced in their choice of room by the safe as opposed to safety deposit box issue. Very useful information.

Flash Basbo Where I differ is that I don't think you get a lot more at Areca spending up to 1600 baht. The larger rooms aren't too impressive and I can do without a view. Many lower priced hotels have safes like Sabai Inn. .................................................................................................... ................ When you refer to "safes" at Sabai Inn do you mean in-room safes or safety deposit boxes at reception. Just been on their site and there is no mention of in-room safes. Anyone able to confirm whether Sabai Inn has an in-room safe? Sometimes i

Once again thank you to everyone for taking the time and trouble to respond. Best wishes

Thanks to all who have kindly responded

wacmedia Thanks for the information. It is a long and potentially very boring flight. So obviously I would wish to have as much comfort etc. as possible. Never been on BA but thought Qantas was dreadful.

Hi all. Hope someone can help with this question. Whenever I have travelled before from London to Bangkok, I have used EVA Air, which I have found to be good. Certainly since the "upgrade" in the planes. There now seems to be more leg-room in cattle class, t.v. monitor in seat in front etc. I travelled once with Qantas but would not wish to repeat that experience. My question concerns Thai Airways. How does this compare to Eva in terms of comfort, service, leg-room, entertainment etc.? I am thinking of trying Thai Airways but do not want a miserable long-haul flight. Thanks

Little Roy Thanks for taking the trouble to respond. Like you. I also hope that I am not referring to a ST hotel. The hotel I am interested in has its own website - www.marinainnplaza.com Hope this helps. Thanks again -
Hi I would be grateful to hear from anyone who has stayed at the above hotel recently. Which of the suites offered is it best to stay in? Is breakfast included? Is there a balcony and/or swimming pool? Most important of all, would you recommend it? Thanks.

I stayed at the RG from 18th until 27th November. I am a big fan of this establishment. It is spacious, no one hassles you and it is but a short walk or baht bus ride away from the action. Of course, people look for different features in an hotel. However, for me it ticks all the boxes.
