very girl friendly,no safes in the rooms ,safety deposit boxes at the foyer. except for the bad girls you get off the beach,nothing ever gets taken,great staff.

I will check with my mates who stayed there 2 nights[the whitehouse] and only moved to be with other mates at the nautical soi 11, i'll ask them what they payed and another customer stayed there last week as it had good adsl connection. the areca and the metro are a 100 mts apart in soi diana,i have stayed at the areca,nice pool and rooms. i'll get back to you. if you want a room booked at the whitehouse i'll do it for you i go past there everyday.

I agree with EDP its not a good idea to leave your house unattended for any amount of time condos are better for just holidays.the agent should have the right info on the place,but always get a laywer. but give the house ago and work it out from there.and have a GOOD look around.. all the posts are good advice.

I saw the add for fair/p in the pattaya trader they looked liked they had a lot of properties.and that book has doubled in size in the last 2 yrs and the agents are everywhere....thats a good book to start with you can get it at foodland or most agents

If you have a thai tg or wife or friend take them with you. i am with tt&t and its good and still on true dial up 100 hrs 600b which is good.[still no line] 9 out of 10 thais say yes or nod to your questions,cause they dont want to look stupid ,,weather they know the answer or not.thats the prob half the time

unless you know someone,, people like to rent their place out for a long time, there are heaps around for rent that are not advertised with agents, but like i said its for 3 months or more. i think you can get villas at jomtiem with pool on a weekly basis which is better than crossing sukumvit .try www.fairproperties.com

Thats a very good map baxer, i'll keep that . i agree with sinbin if you are night owls forget it ,if you are day people and dont go out much its not to bad,and if you rent a bike you dont want to drive home pissed. its alright for people who live here we are use to it and like it.

I've been out many times but not for a while now,we have allways caught good size cobia travally,snapper,its best to get the boats with live squid ,they get them the nigtht before you go out ,you leave at 6am go 2 hrs out past the islands they know the spots,they cook any fish caught early for lunch,but allways take something in case.they get back about 6pm ,,,a long day. dont jump over for a swim unless you are a good swimmer the currents are very strong. its about 6000 for the day. if you want marlin fishing you have to go the the marina 8ks out of pattaya. but thats xxxxz

Deadman......sa-teef gave a good report its a very lively spot and central to everything,and if you like fellow poms ,,well there everywhere,if you want a quiet beer or what ever there are heaps of bars,and lots of resturants.the place is alive. paul

i checked the jasmine out ..its well done out good secruity ,safe ,little coffee shop. english owned like everything else around that area,and a nice bloke to talk to. central to everything,i'd say the only thing to worry about is the noise and 2nd rd. where as the other is a short walk to beach rd. as we say deadman UP TP YOU. paul

Hi simon.any other dates would have been fine,jan has an 2am p/up that tues morn.and i try to avoid back to back p/ups too many things can go wrong not to mention the driver ...too tired. and the 8th, jan has a 9.30am p/up to a bkk hotel,with bkk traffic you would get to to air/p too late .if you were to share .. i hope you understand.paul PS.dont have a punt this week

the soaps here for thais are 10 times worse than ours . look at the bar girls when they come on when their working,they almost forget about you....yes it would be terrible for sasa to turn out to be another kyle. the way she is singing and looking at 5 yrs old ..just maybe.. thats why i want her to have that lay back OZ attitude,and take her back for long hols. paul

things may have changed since i was a butterfly.but i think you know what i mean. if they think they can get extra they will ask. my newbie mate ran out of money,fell inlove with a friend of ours ,sent home for some money, finished that, her boyfriend came the last night he was here .she not only paid for his short time on the last night she lent him some money.which he has since returned.[no extras] she liked him ...you never can tell.he was a good style of a bloke 35.she has always been up front with anyone i have introduced her to...as we and they say ,,up to you good luck in paradise

Yea ,i tell all newbie mates not to fall in love with any girl much less the first one, you'll probaly learn the hard way too ,,the other thing i tell them ,is to tell every girl ,,you are a butterfly,,,that way they dont hassle you so much about family,etc. [a butterfly is someone who goses from one gril to another] they seem to understand that. and it leaves your options open,,,and dont tell them you are a newbie,they look at you like they won the jackpot.....but thats hard to keep from them they are too smart.
