  1. Bob Soft Rabbit might be interested in a game with you guys. Suggest you PM him. Doggie
  2. OK Guys. I am booking the tee times and transport for you. Will confirm exact times when I see you but assume we will pick you up at RG at 1115 unless you hear to the contrary. Doggie
  3. Thanks Moby I reckon that I should start a new thread soon on this topic! Thanks for the suggestion about February. Doggie
  4. Suprice Sorry that you can't make it. The competition will not be the same without our Norwegian friends. It looks like I had better start planning another golf festival for early next year so that we can get some golf days for all the guys that couldn't make November. I know we can't repeat the RideHer Cup but I am sure I can come up with some ideas for some fun competitions and maybe a road trip to Phuket.... Let me get November done and dusted and then I can sort something out. Hope to see you early next year. Doggie
  5. That's fine Steve I will put your name on the wait list. There has already been one drop out so there is a pretty good chance you will get to play. Remember to come to FLB on 1st November if you want to play on the other golf days. Catz Open on 4th is getting booked up so let me know now if you want to play in that one. Doggie
  6. Hilly While we are on the subject of your repertoire of great shots, I recall a recent tee shot at Khao Kheow. Hilly set up on the tee and swungs through the ball with a mighty whack. He drove the tee about 20 yards straight down the fairway but the ball took a vertical path about 1 foot in the air and then dropped back exactly where it had started. You couldn't do that again if you tried. And on the subject of Khao Kheow caddies, I was having a particularly bad day and was playing the 18th. My caddy had been patient all the way round but she spoke no English. When my second at the 18th went straight left and into the lake, she informed me of the destiny of the ball as "Fucking Water again"! Doggie
  7. Hilly I will try to pick some up for you at LHR. See you Sunday. Doggie
  8. Hub Now that's interesting. After all the accusations you have levelled in your time towards Pieman and myself, you are now requesting that the board members "abuse" you! Nice to see that you have "outed" yourself at last. Perhaps you would care to volunteer the exact type of abuse you are seeking and I will try to find some suitable candidates to dish it out when you next visit Thailand! Sorry to hear that you have decided to wimp out when you saw how intensive the November programme is going to be. But don't think that trying to slip into the country unnoticed during low season is going to save you! Rumour has it that Big Kev will be bringing your balls over. A nice gesture and much appreciated! I am sure Shilo will be grateful because he now has a place in the USA team. Doggie
  9. Hilly I wonder what you are referring to at the reservoir? I can guess though! Do you think the showers will be working this time? See you Sunday. Doggie
  10. I have had some requests for an additional golf day on 10th November. I have also changed one of the venues to give you all the opportunity to play one of the most challenging courses in the area - Legacy Mountain Shadow. Here are details of the events that have been organised for your fun and enjoyment! Wednesday 2nd November - golf clinic and practice round at Phoenix This is your chance to have a warm up round and some golf instruction at the RideHer Cup venue. It is also an opportunity for you to select your caddy for the big event. Meet at Residence Gardens at 0900 and travel to Phoenix in mini vans. On arrival at Phoenix, there will be a 1/2 hour clinic on the driving range with the golf pro(s). We have booked 4 tee times from 10.40 onwards so we can accommodate 16 players right now for 18 holes. If there is more demand, I will try to book some extra times so get your entries in fast! Cost will depend on the number of players but it is likely to be around Bht 2400 including transport, green fees, caddy fees and tuition. Return transport will be to the Residence Gardens. Friday 4th November - Catz Open at Khao Kheow Last year we had the Kittens Open. This year, the litter has grown into adulthood so we have the Catz Open. Robert, formerly owner of Kittens Naklua is opening a new go-go in a new complex on Walking Street whch will be called Catz and he is holding the golf tournament to celebrate the opening of this new venture. The Catz Open will be an individual Stableford competition with full handicap allowance. There is a trophy for the winner and other prizes. The coach will leave the Residence Gardens at 0900 and will return there after the golf. In the evening, there is a presentation party at Catz including food. Pieman has posted some more details about this event. Wednesday 9th November - International Texas Scamble at Burapha I am inviting teams of 3 players to enter the Scramble. Each team can represent a country, a region of the world or any other geographical affiliation you may care to select! Each team will be entitled to one quarter of the combined handicap of the 3 players. For any of you not familiar with a Texas Scramble or Ambrose, I will explain the rules when we meet you all during the golf week. Cost will be around Baht 1800 including transport, green fees and caddy fees. Transport will depart the Residence Gardens at 9.15 on Wednesday 9th November. Thursday 10th November - Pattana Country Club This is a new course with a first class clubhouse and 27 challenging holes. We have booked 10.30 tee times so the transport will depart from the Residence gardens at 0845. If there are enough players, we can organise a competition - either match play or stableford. Cost will be around baht 2050 including green fees, caddy fees and transport. Friday 11th November - The Pattaya Fore Skins Challenge This is your chance to have a friendly wager with a group of your buddies at Legacy Mountain Shadow. Transport will depart from the Residence Gardens at 0845 for a 10.30 tee time. You can enter as a fourball to gamble amongst yourselves or as an individual. With individuals, I will draw the groups from a hat and leave you to decide on your bets. Cost will be around Baht 1800 including transport, green fees and caddy fees. Golf Registrations To help you register for the various golf events, excluding the RideHer Cup, I will be at the FLB from 2000 to 2200 on Tuesday 1st November. We will answer any questions, explain the rules and take your entries. It is important that you either register here on the board, send me a pm or register on 1st November so that I can make the final transport and tee time bookings. I look forward to seeing you all in Pattaya. Kind regards Doggie
  11. I have added Pattana into the golf programme. Booked it for 10th November - 10.30 tee time. Transport will depart RG at 0845. We have booked Legacy Mountain Shadow for 11th November - same tee time and departure time. Doggie
  12. OK Guys I will ask Ken to put Pattana on the schedule for either 10th or 11th. Ideally 10th and I am sure there will be enough players to make at least a 4 ball. Doggie
  13. Bob I am not sure that many of the guys will want to golf 3 days in a row. Let's see what folks decide when we meet up on 1st November. Doggie
  14. Hub I am not sure about Pattana but the Sports Days vapourise at most courses come November 1st. The normal weekday green fee is 1800 with a 20% discount for PSC members. We currently offer a day at Pattana including transport and caddy for 2,050 per round if there are 6 golfers or more. Works out more or less the same price as the PSC rate plus caddy and transport without the hassle of organising your own tee times. I am hoping we can maintain this price for high season. Doggie
  15. I've played it a couple of times and it has potential to be one of the best courses in the area when it settles down. The clubhouse is great and there are some really challenging holes. The helipad is also a bit special. If a lot of guys want to play it, it could be an option for Friday 11th. A bit of a pain in the arse to get back from on a Friday night. Let me know what you guys want to do. Doggie
  16. Bertie I have been holding 5 places open for your buddies. As I now read it, you have a total of 6 people including yourself for the event. Is this right? If so, you are all included because you confirmed to me before the event was fully subscribed. Please respond asap. If you need my UK phone number, just PM me. I will also put all 6 of you down for the other golf days. 2nd, 4th, 9th and 11th. You, the 3 guys you have mentioned plus foursome frank and bald baz. Doggie
  17. We had a couple of clients on EVA Elite last month. They were very complimentary about the seating - both guys are over 6 foot. Not sure about the comparison with the 747's - I will be flying out again next week so I will check this out. Doggie
  18. Post Op Half way between Mens and Ladies tees! Doggie
  19. Only female golfers can tee off the ladies tee. If there are any protests, Ann Marie will adjudicate! Doggie
  20. OK - got that Kev A nice little black number should co-ordinate rather well! Doggie
  21. Taxi Got you down for the lot already. Thanks for re-confirming. See you in Bangers. Doggie
  22. Bob I have got you down for all the events already. Soi Bukaow market sell a nice range of skirts! Doggie
  23. Soft Rabbit I already have you down for all of the golf days. Doggie
  24. Hilly I've got her on the list. 19 entries so far for the Catz Open - not inclding the two R's and any local entries. There is probably room for another 8 players so first come first served! Doggie
  25. Golfermike Look forward to meeting you at FLB. If you guys are interested in more golf, have a look at some of the other golf days we have planned. I will be at FLB on 1st November to take bookings for the other golf days. A few of the guys are also planning to play Phoenix on 6th November as well. Let me know which days you would like to join. Happy to accept a cold one after I get all my work done on the 6th. it will be orange juice for me until about 9.30 with all those players to register. Doggie
