Hi Matt Your suggested rules look good - I'll make sure that they are in the rule book. I also saw the ball end up behind the player in last year's event. Kenny hit a tree with his drive. The ball rebounded behind him. Not only was he playing his second from behind the tee but we insisted that he dropped his trousers because the ball had not passed the ladies tee. Many of you will have clicked on the advert on the board and expressed your interest in this year's event. I would like to suggest that all interested players should reply to this post so that I can start compiling a list of the teams. We need to know: name - your handle is fine Nationality Handicap - and in Dad's case a recent handicap certificate The event is scheduled as Europe vs USA. I agree Hilly. It is about time the trophy's exploits over the last 8 months were published for all to see. Will it return to Pattaya in time for this year's event? Hi Deuce I think all these rules should be in operation for the Rideher Cup - especially the second group. As for the penalty for not passing the ladies tee, I will be pleased to demonstrate the execution of the second shot as I have had a lot of practice at this: I would also like all players to ensure that the dress code is strictly adhered to. Hi Kjvegas I broke the shaft on my 5 iron a few years ago in roughly the same place as your wood is broken. It also had a carbon fibre shaft. It was easily replaced with a new shaft in the pro shop at my local golf club. I would not recommend super glue because the club will probably break again. It would be much better to get a new shaft fitted. Please remember to specify how whippy you want the shaft. Stiffer the better - just ask any TG!! Hope you get it mended OK. Cheers Doggie

Hi Pete Thanks for setting up this section on the board. I will start some threads later this week for various aspects of the Rideher Cup - registration, rules, selection of courses etc. I have booked my flight so I will definitely be back for this year's event. Thanks PSP. I found the problem - Pete has now re-activated my membership and the members board magically appeared! ;D

I am registered as a member but I can't reach the members board - only the open to all forum. When I use the url http://www.freelancerbar.com/newprotect/member/ I get the old pop-up before I can nav to the site. Then, I get the members home page and I click on message board. This takes me to the open to all forum. Then, I login again as a member. However, I can't see any way to navigate to the members board. Can someone help me out with this? Thanks :-/
