    Because of the tapering by the feds and the political issues in Thailand, my guess is that the dollar will get a bit stronger against the baht .

    Not the same word. Boring is เบื่อ, which is transliterated as "bèua" Actually none of the transliterations can be considered correct unless they include something to show what tone it should be pronounced as. But as MM states...it would be nice to be consistent, especially signs on the same road.

    Cafe Patron is great stuff! I've never seen it in Pattaya though. I like Irish car bombs and Yagar Bombs too. Had waaaaay to many Yagar Bombs and Patron shots on New Years Eve at the FLB...fun night, but took me several days to recover.

    I've been trying to get a room at the Manhattan Hotel on Soi 15 in Bkk. I noticed the reviews were good and most were paying around 900-1000 baht. But when I walked in they said 1600/night. Does anyone know how to get the lower price for this hotel? I am currently in Bkk. Also, if someone could recommend an alternative hotel. This one has a gym and pool. Thanks

    Have you looked in the members section? There are some great videos there. I get home sick everytime I look at them. I believe there are 12 of them and some are quite long. Great stuff.

    After 4 trips in steerage I finally have enough miles to fly United business from SFO to BKK FREE! I'll be there in March....I'm just chomping at the bit!!!! ;D ;D ;D
