Regarding Mahan Airlines ex Manchester - yes they will be the cheapest but from what i hear flights are usually delayed which means missed connection outbound in Iran

The alternative is :- What you can do is phone the service centre in Cheadle and say you want to gift 25,000 airmiles to : Christopher Brownhill EK No 146410445 for booking code no CGD5T2 Man-Dubai 6th Sept. Hi Chivas Yes you can donate the Emirates miles to my account / against my flight in Sept 07 (25,000 will get me upgrade on Man-Dubai section) The Etihad miles are not transferable. I can give you £100 for 25,000 emirates miles ?

Etihad Guest miles can be used for upgrades or use them for discounted tickets. See Etihad website.

Anybody interested in my 26,924 Etihad Guest Miles ?

For my dates 6/23rd Sept Openjet has Etihad £536.90 however i have Emirates at £470.00. with Expedia.(purchased last week)

Apples and Pears ?? I don't think majority of customers can book 7 days prior to flight ? Having looked at many websites over the last 3 months Etihad prices have usually remained higher than Emirates or Qatar. Last year it was the opposite. For September flights ex Manchester Emirates flights are still cheaper then Etihad however this may change perhaps end of August ! I have noticed also on many websites customers having joined Etihad guest scheme have complained about the high prices !

The days of sub £400 indeed sub £500 with Etihad are long gone ! Yes would recommend Emirates - have booked with them for Sept 07 cost £470.00 ex Manchester. Have upgraded on sector Dubai - Manchester to business using miles (able to use executive lounge for 3 hour layover in Dubai) Anybody interested in my Etihad miles 26,000 ? Recently sent email to Customer Services at Etihad asking them why as a Silver Member i should pay Etihad £250.00 more than flying with Qatar or Emirates ex Manchester ! Still waiting for a reply. Would be interested to know if any members have booked with Etihad recently for flights ex Manchester July onwards and how much ?
