  1. Nice one! Good to see you back, and will definately be there most nights from the 23rd onwards, so save some of that free beer :)
  2. I like Etihad, but they are messing people about a bit on prices The price has ranged for me between £380-£450 from LHR, but when I wanted a booking in August, the prices had shot up to over £700. The same time now is £577 and November is £540
  3. Agreed! 1,200 THB per night, would be about right
  4. My last 3 flights have been with Etihad, and I am starting to get a few FF miles They have always been good value ranging from £380-£450, but what a shock I had when trying to book up for August. Around £760 They mite as well bend me over and I got it in the end with Qatar for £480 NOVEMBER, same story; Qatar=£436, Etihad=£560 I know that August is peak time, but £280 more :alright I think that qualifies as "sky-rocketing" fares
  5. My friend and I had breakfast there many times on my last holiday, can't be beaten for value.
  6. Yes, 6 more weeks and I'll be back Never mind mate , you will hopefully be back later on in the year But stay away from Pun and Nanny.
  7. You are quite correct about the girls dance wise But he did ask: "What songs do you guys like to hear ,if you can give me names it would be great." That's what I was answering to.
  8. ROCK. ROCK, and ROCK U2, Foo Fighters, Tom Petty, Thin Lizzy, Metallica, Springsteen, Motorhead. You get the idea Real singer/song writers, that play actual instruments, not some technician with a mixing desk
  9. GREAT I hope that it works out, so that you can keep it this price all year
  10. My mates wife is a dental nurse, and I am told all UK dental nurses etc, have to have jabs for Hepatitis B and A, and a few others. Do they also do this in the Pattaya dental clinics? or is it best to get the jabs yourself? I already had the doctors recommended, tetanus, typhus, HepA,etc; but was told the HepB was not really necessary for that region of LOS may be wise to get it though, if planning dental treatment by non immunized doctors/nurses. What do you guys think? certainly sounds a lot cheaper to get work done there
  11. Over night certainly, until after morning/early afternoon boom-boom I quite often, offer them to come for breakfast/lunch also, my cost obviously; if they are nice
  12. Same, Same
  13. I wonder if it could be avoided by booking through a foreign travel agent site? or maybe getting Eurostar to Paris and flying from there? My last £380 ticket, was £100 taxes
  14. A good idea Shane just a bit too high 5000 THB is over £70, that is a lot of drinking
  15. Another good idea Although with High season, upon you, you may not feel the need to get the edge on your competitors. Shane, thanks for all the effort you are putting in for us
  16. I popped into your place a few times after 2am, after visiting a few bars with a few other boardies Each time, I brought a few drinks and a BF So, I would say keep it going it's a few more THB spent with you, and not your competitors
  17. Great pictures I had many a beer at the cherry bar and can thoroughly recommend it, and the girls
  18. Good info thanks So if I am seeing this correctly. Pattaya is 1050 + 60 (toll) + 100 (surcharge) = 1210 baht
  19. Hi Neal, It is air-conditioned. If you play the video you can see the unit above the bed, also the fan. Also it is mentioned on the home page: Cleanliness & Friendliness is our M O T T O The Butterfly Skysuite Situated in one of the best well known soi's of Pattaya, soi 6 ( Soi Yodsak)located between Central Pattaya road, and the Dolphin round-about. Easy access either from Beach or 2nd road A full bar offering : beers - spirits - cocktails & softdrinks Comfortable rooms for rent(airconditioned), cozy and nice decorated. I hope that is a help to you. I can hardly wait for my trip there. This will be my 4th trip to LOS, the first 3 times I stayed at Areca Lodge, but when I saw this place my mind went into overdrive at the thought of the possibilities of having a room with my own jacuzzi, and all those girls of Soi 6 on hand
  20. Hi, I have the Jacuzzi room booked for 16 days in October Try this link : http://users.telenet.be/pattayabutterfly/skysuite.htm eddy on the other main forum has written a review.
  21. Re Areca, have you tried an agency like these http://r24.org/pattayapages.com/pattaya/areca http://www.asiarooms.com/thailand/pattaya/areca_lodge.html ? They some times have a certain amount of rooms on full time reservation, so that you can some time s get a room even when the hotel say it is full. You will have to pay 100% of cost in advance, but it is slightly cheaper than going straight to the hotel. I have twice used the asiarooms web page with no problems.
  22. Thanks for the additional info. Makes a cheep deal I do not think that I would do it though, unless I wanted a few days in BKK, too much fucking about For those that wish to go to Manila, flights are available for about £80 return from BKK
