Displayed prices are for multiple nights. Check the site for price per night. I see hostels starting at 200b/day and hotels from 500b/day on agoda.

I don't believe it. Eva Air price

Ouch! :cussing

That’s insane pricing when you could fly Quantas Business Class nonstop for 2600 GB Pounds on those dates.

IMHO, it seems that the closer you get to the departure date the more the ED prices seem to increase, although I’ll defer to the Eva frequent flyers on this point.

Do any of you guys know the best seat in Eva economy on the Combi? I am going out 6th Feb returning 27th Feb but OURS can only confirm economy with waitlist for Evergreen, so I maybe have to go steerage class.

I have looked at the seat plans for the 747 Combi, row 35 is bulkhead which probably means children and stiff neck looking at screen. Row 45 is exit row but is right next to toilets so a lot of people hanging around, doors banging, toilet flushing etc. Row 54 has only 2 seats each side and looks OK but it is next to the galley, call buzzers going off all the time but maybe best bet IF available.

It is the Chinese new year which doesn't help, plus I was going to use miles for the upgrade. As I said to C Tom trying to use your FF miles during busy time is probably not the best bet. I will check in early and hope that I can appeal to their better nature, should be OK to pay £18 for over 2 hours in the SAS lounge knocking back G&Ts. :banghead

During the flight I'll just have to think about all those LBFMs waiting in LOS. B)

PhuketAir £299 return including taxes Gatwick-BKK :grin-jump

I just booked yesterday to go out Feb 1st, back 28March. Paid £398.10 inc taxes because it's over a month stay.

Same airline over Easter £349.

But they have a chequered timekeeping record :grin-jump

Its always higher at Chinese New Year but that's a ridiculous price. :grin-jump

Find out when CNY ends and book a week after if you can.

Did you get that price from Eva or a bucket shop?

Guys, thank you for your various inputs above.

I got this:

GBP 299 + taxes = 379

Return March 20

Virgin (tilting!!!) Express Preston - London Euston just over 2.5 hrs. GBP 26 3 day advance one way.

Did not think cabin service as good/attentive as Qatar.
