I liked the direct flight from Helsingi. Departure at 0.00 and then a sleaping pill. Landed in Bangkok around 14.00 thai time. The price from here to either London or Chopenhagen is the same, so that is not the isue.

Thai Airways (TG) from Copenhagen to Bangkok. Departure 14.35 and arrival 06.50.

TGs prices are always higher than most other airlines except SAS. KLM, British Airways and Air France, one or more of those normally have much lower prices.

The best service and the most beautiful stewardesses you find on Singapore Airlines, if you have a TGF in Europe remember they still have ethnic discounts ("asian") also on the lowest prices. TG still have ethnic discounts on more expensive tickets. Officially they don't exist at all.

The biggest advantage with TG is that if you go 5 times in one year or 8 times in 2 years you qualify for their goldcard. 1st class SAS lounge in Copenhagen and business class TG lounge in Bangkok even if you have the cheapest ticket. And if you book more than 72 hours before you're guaranteed a seat on a flight.

Last time I went with Finnair from Helsinki, came from Belgium first.

Next week I'm gong with Air France from Paris, never used them before, the best one I think is Thai, a little bit more expensive but worth it.

It all depends on when you go and how long upfront you book I guess.
