Sheraton Pattaya

I was looking at the Starwood web site for hotels in Bangkok and they now list the Sheraton Pattaya. It's scheduled to open in June 05. Pictures look very nice and it might be a good high end alternative. The Sheratons in Bangkok are guest friendly, hopefully this will be also. Does anyone know where in Pattaya this hotel is located? The web site didn't have a lot of information, pictures make it look like it's on the beach.

It's located outside of Pattaya in Chon Buri. I wonder if I should pay 5 baht or 10 baht to the baht bus driver?

I got my information off of Starwood.com website. It shows the location in Chon Buri not Pattaya. I assume the info is correct. Maybe not.

What are you smoking? I clicked on your URL that you provided and it shows Pattaya. Remember that Pattaya is located in Chon Buri province.

According to the web-site the hotel is on "Phra Tamnak Road", which is the extension of 2nd Road as you head towards Jomtien.

 

The "driving instructions" map is a waste of space though but hey - TiT

I'm happy that it's a little closer to Pattaya then Chon Buri. Now I know how much to give the Baht bus driver.
