I go to Dr Darika at Pattaya International Hospital on Soi 4. She speaks decent English and I've never felt any pain during any of my visits which included a triple root canal this past summer. I know Hilly, Pete, Ben and Moulee all get their work done there as well but they use another female dentist who I can't remember her name.

Dr. Oliver's Clinic across from the Day and Night Hotel. He is French/Swiss, speaks about 8 languages, is inexpensive and excellent! He advertises in all the Pattaya monthly's that can be found in the hotels.

For doctors or hospital treatment it has to be the bangkok pattaya hospital. for basic dental treatment i use Smile in south pattaya. 500baht for check up, clean and polish. English spoken at both places

Try Dr Belum she is has a surgery behind the tourist police station on 2nd road, her english is excellent and she studied medicine in Australia i believe.

She treated me for an eye infection a couple of years ago. Her English is certainly very good. and her nurse was drop dead gorgeous. I would never have believed that I could get turned on by an injection in the butt.

Shit, I'll be into feet next.

this board is very useful...I managed to go arse over tip last night and made a bit of a mess of my knee. Hotel staff helped me clean it up and bandage it etc, but by this morning it had gone a very nasty purple and yellow.

Anyway, went down to Dr Belen - excellent and quick service - cleaned it up, some iodine (ouch), antibiotics as the yellow colour apparently means infection and spare dressings etc. 800 baht well spent.

Gonna have to be Lolitas for a day or so as I have to keep my leg up <laugh

My Doctor when I was in Pattaya Bangkok spoke perfect English, and they have an Aussie doc. who comes from Scotland who acts as liaison, when I was talking to him, he has the same story as many of us, divorced, came to Thailand, met a bar girl and never left.

however I I asked him why did not practice, and he explained that any non-Thai who wanted to practice in Thailand would have to pass the final year Thai medical exam in Thai before he could practice in Thailand

Can you imagine all those Latin names in Thai

Agreed...saw her recently myself. Turn right at the Bangkok Bank on 2nd Rd ( just after Greg's Kitchen) And she pointed me to a dentist just across 2nd Rd from her place. Filling, 700 baht done immediately. Very impressive well equipped place.

On soi pattayaland 1 -next to the 7-11- The R.C. clinic. There is a female doctor that was trained in Kansas-Talks perfect english. Likes to talk as a matter of fact. I think she misses the states. It is a little clinic. Some of the e-pats that own bars on that street see her. I did twice for a cough I brought from home. Probably would have got rid of it. If I would have stayed away from the mekong-cokes. Antibiotics dont work with alcohol. No appointment necessary. later doorman
