Cheaper from Europe!

Recommended Posts

KLM are offering 300 quid from Manchester (383 incl), economy of course but no hassles in the Middle East or other God forsaken place. Other places in europe on special too, book a non weekend flight for best price.

Fly April to End June, stay max 30 days.

Easy to book at KLM.com

KLM r wank!!

You need to try few others.....they have kept me waiting fewer times than BA.

Does BA009 EVER take off on time!

I normally fly biz with KLM (not for 300 quid) and have been quite satisfied.

I have paid £508 flying from Manchester with Emirates on 20th July till 12th August, I normally fly from Newcastle but the cheapest price was £682 with KLM and they r wank!

So I can make the 2 hours journey to Manchester and save some money and fly with a much much better airline.

Whilst I have alot of respect for Emirates airlines, I did work in the Middle East for 20+ years and do not wish to feel that I am back there for 20+ hours.

Flown KLM from Manchester twice.Never again ! Flights delayed every time, missed interconnecting plane,no luggage, crappy 747 from Amsterdam.

KLM's logo: 'World-Wide Reliability'......my arse !

Use Qatar- modern panes,no delays on the past 7 times I've flown with them.I got udgraded twice on my last trip due to being in their frequent flyer club. Collect their air-miles and after you've done about 5 flights, you get a free return ticket.

11 days and counting.

Ste,

I agree wholeheartedly with you. Qatar has simply the best FF programme of any that I have been a member of. I always travel in business class with them and whilst they don't sell first class seats to Bangkok the aircraft, more often than not, are fitted in a three class configuration which means an automatic seat allocation in the first class cabin.

It is worth noting that Thai will start flying its brand new A340-600s on the Zurich route from this winter (1 November I think). If you are flying from Manchester you can take advantage of the codeshare and book on a Swiss ticket (at Swiss prices) and travel on the Thai aircraft. The poor standard of Thai's business class and the question of airmiles previously made this an unattractive option but with Thai's new aircraft and Swiss joining the Star Alliance it now appears to be a very attractive option for those guys in the north. It will be interesting to see what deals become available after the August Bank Holiday.

May is low season.

Flew out 20th May last year on Tha,i total of 79 paxs on a 747. After this latest quake, it may be worth waiting for a seat sale.

Staff allways travel in May.

Fully agree with Ste and Cheshire Tom on Qatar. Flown several times now

MAN to BKK. Times for me are good. Excellent in flight service, nothing too much

trouble for the attendants. DOHA stop over is about right for a leg stretch.

Upgraded twice MAN/DOH out of three times and now just got upgraded to

Silver on their Privilege Club which means although economy I can check in

at Biz Desk, use Biz Lounge and get extra 25kg luggage allowance. Can't be

bad. Also it has always been the cheapest flight I could get. Go again 2 May

for four weeks (£383 total) and should gave enough FF miles for a freebee or upgrade by Xmas. Get my vote every time and I have done all the others including KLMseveral times.

I particularly like the way the girls in the lounges come to advise you personally that your flight is about to depart allowing youi to breeze straight through the gate and onto the bus. None of this hanging around, checking monitors crap.
