Hi guys –

Being the old fart that I am, I need to repair or get a new partial dental plate. When I was in Pattaya in December, I visited a small dental office on the side street between Beach Road and second road and Soi7-8. The prices were incredibly cheap – about 500 Baut for a couple of hours work – The Dentist also was a cute little girl.

Does anybody have any experience with dental plates in Pattaya – Time to make, cost, quality etc?

I plan to return in May and may postpone any work in the U.S. until then, if I can get good quality and price.

Thanx

I use the dental clinic located in Pattaya International Hospital on Soi 4. Not the cheapest in Pattaya but still cheaper than your home. They have a website so you can contact them for a price quote and make a reservation. I've been very happy with them and I know Pete, Hilly, Ben and Moulee use them.

I use the dentist on soi 5. I can't pronounce the dentist's name, but he speaks very good English (actually, quite common among medical professionals as I think many of them get their training abroad).

I use a thai-chinese dentist on South Pattaya Rd. He's good, cheap and fast. I check my teeth twice a year - 400 baht each time. A new teeth 4000 baht - in Sweden 6 times more expensive and in Denmark double that.
