Converting downloaded movies

Any suggestions on converting downloaded movies to a DVD format for viewing on TV?

Get yourself WIN AVI. It converts to DVD from most formats and does a great job. You can get a free download on the net.

Or get a DVD player that plays DivX (about3,500tb at Lotus). It will play nearly all stuff you download without the need to convert them .

Most downloaded comes in winmediaplayer format...will DivX play these too?

and easy to use as well

Most newer dvd players (with progressive scan ) will play just about anything, WMA, AVI,MP3,JPG, etc. The jWIN brand does just that, and is fairly inexpensive, at least here in the USA.
