Christmas Week...Too crowded?

Recommended Posts

I have a trip planned to Bkk, and as usual was planning to stay in Pattaya for a few days. Of course, I quickly found that many hotels are already booked. I'm sure I could find someplace, but I was wondering if maybe the crowds will cramp the fun somewhat. I was there during May, and had a great time, but maybe I should stay in BKK or venture to Phuket again. For those of you that have experienced both hi and low season, what do you think. Are the BG's overconfident, and difficult to get good prices out of? Do you find that there is more competition for the superstars?

That period between Christmas Eve and New Years Day is as busy as it gets.

All decent & half decent hotel rooms are occupied. Many of the girls hook up with their sponsor (boyfriend) and the real lookers are able to name their price and be picky about whom they go with.

For the last eleven years i've spent this period in Pattaya and last year i vowed never again so i've booked a chalet on the Island of Koh Chang where i shall hang out for a week along with two babes whom i shall do a deal with when i hit town again on December 5th.

Having said all of that, there are still plenty of girls available! You may have to just lower your standards a notch or two. :nod

Happy Christmas Everyone.

Largest crowds I have seen in my few trips to LOS at xmas/nyrs. More family type people than I had seen and they were in Bkk also. I think many were planning on going to Phuket until the "big wave". Crowded, more expensive and I wouldn't miss it. I don't think I could stand another xmas/nyrs in SE Texas. See you in FLB.
