Limo from Bangkok to Pattaya

It's been recommended that I take Thai Limo from the Bangkok airport to Pattaya; I'm staying at the Lek in November and wanted to know what the ballpark cost would be for the ride? Also, would the limo driver know where the Lek is or would I have to get directions for him?

Thai limo is expensive and I used thm years ago and the driver DIDN'T know Pattaya and neither did I, nor would the mother fucker ask directions. this was my first trip. Anyone care to guess how muck of a tip he got?

 

Mr Churchill recommended this service and IMHO looks more then OK. updated taxi transfers bkk-pattaya, 2005 taxis in the meeting section. I would also recommend Alex but his prices have gone up.

The current rate of Thai Airways for its limousine service to Pattaya is 3250 Baht for a Mercedes. They used to have other cars (mostly Toyotas) for lower rates, don't know if they still have them.

Nowadays, all drivers know Pattaya and they probably all know the Lek Hotel. If not, they stop at the Thai Airways office in Pattaya and get directions there.

 

BUT - it is not worth the money IMO - there are cheaper alternatives as mentioned above.
