Trying to find a hotel.

I'm pretty sure these questions have been asked before, but I can't seem to find what I'm looking for with the search engine, and now that I have a little over a mont left before my first trip I figured I better start looking.

 

I was looking at teh RG, but the only thing is that I really wanted a room where the balconey had a sea view.

 

Are there any hotels that aren't insanely priced that have the same basic items the RG has but is closer to the action and has an ocean view?

 

Like in room safe, etc. A big bath would be nice as well.

Check out the hotel reviews and it should give you the info you need.

I think you can get a sea view for around 1350, I stayed in a suite for 2500 but not worth the money.

I'm not sure if there is a website or not but my condo / hotel is always advertising locally for rooms with a sea view for the cheap price of 599 baht a night.

You have in soi 12 the Pattaya Centre hotel, the deluxe room on the corner for about 2000 baht a night, offer large room with splendid sea view, but no garden only nice pool. In the nautical inn, the oldest hotel soi 11, the new bulding offer some romm with seaview, about 900 baht.Finally th Siam bayview between soi 9 and soi 10 a deluxe romm, for about 2500 baht a night offer all garden quality service and nice seaview. You can book trough local agency like worldtravel with office in the best hotel in Pattaya, like Montien, Royal Garden or Dusit

You know, a lot of the hotels have a bit of a sea view if you specificially ask for it. For, example, Flipper Lodge on Soi 8 has rooms with a sea view if you specify the upper floors on the beach side. That might be something to try as they have a website and time is wasting. Eastiny has same.

Pattaya Hill Resort is a great place, from the higher floors very nice views and large balconies. Available through RCI. If you use RCI order the 2 bedroom option, as the Studios and the 1 bedroom ( this is a large studio with no extra windows,balconies just with an additional glass wall in the middle of the room ) are poor. And be aware, that the traffic is a nightmare.
