Sheraton Hotel in South Pattaya

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I'm thinking about staying at the Sheraton Hotel in South Pattaya over Christmas. I know this is a new hotel, and was wondering if anyone has any feedback on it. How far is it from Walking Street? Are there Taxis that are near the hotel to take you into town? etc...

Any info would be greatly appreciated!

Regards,

Tony

Two weeks ago, I was talking to a guy at the FLB who was staying there. He said there was no problem bringing guests as he had a different one each night.

Hi Guys,

Maybe I'm just chicken, but with all the shit going on now with bombing of American name hotels, why take a chance staying at one and spoiling your holiday, plently of alternatives to them. And yes, I'm American but personally the last thing I want to do when in the LOS, or other overseas locations, is to stay at an American owned hotel. Just stay a nice Thai owned hotel and have a great time. Have a great one and enjoy. Old Bud in AZ

Hi

I agree, it increases the slight possibility that you will be blown to bits, but I'm sure most of the boardies don't want their actions changed by the nice people.

Actions won't change, just where you do it.

I don't usually think of which hotel I'm in when my nob is being gobbled.

I posted a review of this place just as it opened on Pattaya-escapades.

I had 2 weeks there free on Sheraton points but the TW made me check out the next morning and go to the Marriott. Although this place is nice it is way way way out of the way out past royal cliffs beach resort and rides back and forth are both difficult to get and expensive. The place is set up to get you in there and keep you there. Mostly for familys with 3 restaurants, 3 pools and a private beach.
