Anybody have anything bad to say about this place. I'm thinking of staying here on my next trip. I read on their website that they give an exclusive walking map for hotel guests. Does anybody know what this is about, and what places they mention? I imagine the Thermae, but what else? Thanks--meatjoy

waaaaaaaaaay down soi 8 with a private tuk-tuk for free to get you to and from Sukhumvit. Rooms are adequate.

Once you get to Suk - then cowboy and nana are close by.

restaurant sucks. had breakfast there once.....got food, coffee, juice, toast, condiments, etc all separate and all about 5 minutes apart. the restaurant is on top floor and they have a dumbwaiter (mini-elevator) for shuttling the food from the kitchen downstairs..

there are better places to stay.

I used to stay in Royal Asia quite often, but after they raised their prices from 890 to 1090 Baht (and did not bother to tell me upon my reservation or check in) I decided to leave them alone.

The rooms are ok for the price, a little shabby but ok.

Forget the restaurant.

No problems with guests.

I liked the location, and the 24 hour Tuktuk was a nice idea. It is about 10 Minutes Walking into the Soi.

Now I stay most times at the Grottino. I love it! Perfect, although with 1700 Bt it is also in another price class!
