Displayed prices are for multiple nights. Check the site for price per night. I see hostels starting at 200b/day and hotels from 500b/day on agoda.

Not worth the extra price in low season since its really just 2 standard rooms joined together with just basic furniture in the extra room. During high season if your other alternatives have raised their price or you really like this hotel then i would say suck it up and just pay for the suite this time round just because it is high season.

Bestmate is exactly right.

I would not call it a suite.

In the "living room" all you have to do is remove the couch and replace it with a bed and you have another standard room. You don't even have to change the end tables as they are the same table used for night stands and they don't have drawers, btw.

Also, there is no chest of drawers for your clothes. Actually, none of the basic amenities that a hotel in that price range (in Pattaya) should offer. What do they have going for them? Location. Great location and some rooms have a good view of the bay.

They were asking 2,500 a night for those "suites" up to October, the last time I checked their prices. If they are now willing to take 1,990 in the High Season, maybe they have finally gotten the hint.....you think? ....couldn't be...........

:P

You could do worse than a suite at the Sandy for under 50.00 during the peak of high season. Very comfortable in my opinion.

A nice sofa and a TV in each room, two showers and two balconies, at least in the suite I had. It's only an extra 15.00.

Many places with real suites where you get apartment style feel for same money. Try BVP Eastinny Place, or Sunshine Vista (haven't stayed at last one yet).

I have stayed at the Sandy Spring Suites and I liked them but am always looking for better deals and rooms. What is BVP Eastinny Place. Is it a suite at the Eastinny Place hotel? Always looking for a suite room with two seperate rooms. Thanks for any info.

Sorry:

BVP - Bella Villa Prima, Soi 4 - wireless, nicer furniture, full kitchen.

Eastinny Place, Soi 8. Suites interconnected rooms, no door to separate, but always found it a good value/location, especially on seventh floor suites.

The 1900B Suites are overloking the Soi. No ocean view.

I stayed in one in January earlier this year with my missus and son. They put an extra bed in.

Cheers

Nice thing with a sandy springs suite it has 2 full baths with complete sets of towels. If you are into shaging more than 1 girl at a time you have plenty of towels and room to play.

I stayed at Mercure and had a queen suite for 1700 baht. IT SUCKS. the regular queen room for 1400 baht was better. queen suite at Mercure is a joke. They do have a nice pool.
