Hotel Montien - Pattaya

What is the "true" policy for guests at the Hotel Montien in Pattaya. I would like to stay for two weeks next april and would like to avoid any hassles.

You will have big hassles my friend not G F , 800 baht joiner fee .

Yep, not guest friendly, much like most of the hotels used by the big tour operators.

I stayed there summer of 2004. Registered my girl with the desk and reserved the room for 2 people. They still gave me a hard time. Actually they were downright rude. Great gym and facilities. But if you are a farang with a thai girl the will treat you, and especially the girl, like shit.

Stayed in Montien July 2004 with my thai wife - never again

 

They treated her like 'shit' complained to Manager and checked out 2 days early.

Never stay their again.

I think Marriott has also an entrance on the beach road. Never had problems with bringing some company. They just must give ID card.
