Greetings folks

 

Am back in Pattaya end of month and wanted a change from my usual hotel. I have seen an advertisement for LK Metropol on ebay, it reads well but would like to hear from any Board members who have stayed there.

 

Is it as good as the famous RG

 

What is their guest policy

 

Any general comments would be welcome -

The BG I was with for 2 days mentioned that as being a, "very nice hotel" and we were at the Areca at the time. I'm thinking it must be pretty good

I always stay ay Areca Lodge {across the Soi from Metro},but i ventured over to Metro out of curiosity.

 

It looks pretty good,but i love to hang around the pool during the day,and when i checked out the pool at Metro i was shocked,it was TINY.

 

So its a no go for me,anyway i dont think you can beat Areca.

Grand hotel/apartment and pricey but not on a grand location.

Yeah I have stayed here, good but pricey. I paid 2,500 per day.

 

Not really worth it IMHO.

For price details. Watch out for the utility charges. know that a few board members stay there full time ... so maybe they can give the full gen.
