Anybody stayed there before? If so, is there a charge on guests?

Dynasty Inn, has a separate entrance to elevators if you are bringing in someone you dont want others to see. I brought in 2 girls and noone cares. You can bring a whole horde of girls if u want noone cares at Dyansty Inn pattaya

BTW they have great food there!!!!!

not sure if Dynasty still offers this but they used to have a deal if your staying in BKK one night and then booked 2 nights in Pattaya they provided free transportation to Pattaya - in a van with about 6 - 8 others. Transport back you had to pay but I never used it as it left at about 1330 back to BKK and I usually leave Pattaya at 0900-1000 to spend some time in BKK. but - up to you

havent done this in a while as I usually head straight to Pattaya - but last August my buddy used Dynasty/Dybasty and free ride from BKK

They have no in-room safe.

The policy is to charge for a third person, but you can escape that by using the side-entrance and even if you go through the lobby it depends on who's behind the desk that night.

It's a nice hotel but the rooms are dark and I don't think the staff to be extremely friendly and diligent.

I only use it when the Sandy Spring Hotel (same Soi) is fully booked.

Sandy Spring is 200 Baht / day cheaper and is a far nicer hotel with larger rooms and a better service.

I like the location of both hotels. Soi 13 is relatively quiet and you are a minute away from Beach road and 2nd Rd. and somewhere in between Walking Street and the Soi 6-7-8 area.

Well, I'm booked in Bangkok for June but may look elsewhere after looking at their site. They raised BKK to 1200 and the 3rd guest is now listed as 500 baht. No doubt that will apply to both BKK and Pattaya. On the plus side it still says they'll transfer you free one way, and I'll assume the 2 day minimum at the 2nd hotel still stands.

I have taken the mini bus from the Dynasty in Bangkok to Pattaya as mentioned by upena. Arriving at the airport at midnight, I always spend my first and last night at the Dynasty in Bangkok.

The mini bus is free if your staying at least two night at the Dynasty in Pattaya. I do this and then move on to somewhere else. Durning the day you can advoid the lobby and go through the carpark to get to the lift. When I was there last week they have started to close that off from dark until 6:00 AM so can't sneek any girls in that way. I have never taken two girls back to the Dynasty in Pattaya so can't confirm the extra charge for the second girl. The ride back to the Dynasty in Bangkok is now 400 baht, but it leaves too late at about 1:30 PM and hit Bangkok at rush hour traffic.

At the Dynasty in Bangkok you can advoid the lobby 24/7 by taking the alley off Soi 4. Unless I'm with someone I know, I will go through the lobby so she can drop off her ID card at the desk.

PS; the rate at the Pattaya Dynasty whent from 1090 baht to 1200 baht per night a little over a year ago.

Have never really understood the importance some guys put on the fact of "Free" transport one way to Pattaya, this in fact is anything but free as you are locking yourself into a hotel (which imo is not great) for a 3 day period, when the bus fare is only 120 bht to Pattaya.Alternatively you can pay about 350/400 bht for this service or the other one from the "Nana". :D :D <huh

27 hours till wheels up :clueless

You only have to book two night for the Dynasty Inn in Pattaya to be able to use the free shuttle service from Bangkok to Pattaya. I stayed at the Majestic Suites and just went over to the Dynsaty Inn and booked and paid for my first two night for the Dynasty Inn in Pattaya to be able to use the free shuttle. :D

Used them for years in BKK

I dont like how they like your credit card # up front via internet.

There is just too much fraud these days.

I do agree rooms are pretty bland and so are the nana for the most part..

Nana includes brekfast buffet and bnewspaper though thats kind of nice:-)

And not much more than the Dynasty

They dont ask for one when I book with the Nana...

Used to stay in the Bangkok one all the time before I bought a place in LOS, now I would say the rooms are looking very worn and some more than others. Still a great hotel for location, food is also great, however now i would rather stay in one of the newer ones in that area.

In terms of pattaya, it is brilliantly located, never stauyed in the pattaya one, as i was always a Sandy spring man, same road as Dynasty.
