HONG KONG TO BANGKOK

Recommended Posts

Giday,

Ive got a mate who has to go to HK,then wants to fly to BKK,return

Does anyone know which cheap Asian airline flys that route?

Thanks

Ned

This is a pretty well covered route. The obvious being Cathay and Thai, also Singapore. Bangkok is a stop off for many European and Middle East (Gulf)carriers on the way to/from Hong Kong

Dragon Air fly there...

Try flying out of Macau, Air Asia. Macau is only a 1 hour ferry ride away and only costs about $20

Here's an example, but you can find even lower...

V FARE Guest 308.00 MOP Fri, 08/Sep/2006

Flight FD3603 14:20 Depart Macau (MFM)

16:00 Arrive Bangkok (BKK)

A FARE Guest 278.00 MOP Sun, 24/Sep/2006

Flight FD3602 10:05 Depart Bangkok (BKK)

13:50 Arrive Macau (MFM)

Total Cost of Flight 1,020.00 MOP $278 USD

Air Asia flies BKK to Macau, I paid about 80 GBP last time for a return ticket. Book well ahead if you want a good price.

They have an arrangement where to get off the ferry and straight onto the plane, no need to go thru Macau immigration.

I just looked over my post above and noticed I made a fatal error ! :banana

I converted to Malaysian Ringit instead of Macau Pataca, the cost of that flight should actually be $135US return and all in.

Now that is a bargain ! :thumbup

check out www.china-airlines.com cheap as chips im flying the reverse route in C-class for cheap!

have used china airlines, very good and cheap, but the sheer flexibility of thai air and cathay choice of flight times is the way to go if you can afford it...you can book online and reserve your seat from the seating plan from these two.
