Hi Guys.

Certainly keeping my fingers cross due to fly on Thursday and been looking forward for

months, have rang Etihad and they tell me all flights are operating as normal to Bangkok.

Could have done landing at the new airport to avoid Bangkok, will be tense times ahead

Wish me luck guys.

I'm booked to leave from heathrow on thursday on thai airways.

If the flight leaves as normal, then i'll be on it.

Good luck to the people of thailand - it's sad that they had to get rid of toxin in such a manner but a little bit of inconvenience isn't going to dampen my trip or my support for thailand!

I would still come but be aware the country's under 'martial law' and the constitution's been suspended.

With that said, the immediate issue will probably early bar closings.

It's been reported that the military will return power to a civilian government within the next 2 weeks. This government will apparently remain in place for 1 year after which presumably new elections will be held.

Everything is going on as normal in Pattaya today.

The coup will bring down the value of the baht, so more money for girls and drinks. even if the running of the goverment returns to normal the investment world would be hesident. so the dollar will only go up up up. so start planning your trips guys.
