Majestic suites

Hi guys, I want to book at the majestic suite in January, it as been easy to do in the past through the very good suwadee (sp) secure booking site they normally use, but on their web site I cant even see the rates they charge these days..as anyone booked a room there lately?

if so some info would be greatly appreciated.

Booked December at 1350 single superior. I don't particulary like this hotel but it is in a greal location and has the safe. FD staff were a bit rude to me TG last time. Breakfast sucks.

I booked for late Dec, early Jan through the hotel's web site. No Problems, even had to make changes, which they did quickly with no hassle.

I booked two nights with Majestic Suites (Bangkok) for 10 Oct -12 Oct. The manager has been very responsive with other questions I have had throughout the last 2 months. I even emailed MJ yesterday for another reservation for a friend that decided at the last minute to go to Thailand and MJ already replied with confirmation #. The price is 1350 baht a night for superior standard room. I've stayed there before for 2 days in February with no complaints. It is one of those hotels that is harder to get to. Best bet is to have the taxi driver drop you off at the Nana Plaza Hotel parking lot and walk from there. Anyways when I get there on Tuesday I want to meet the manager or whoever it was that has been helping me out and thank him/her ... zarusoba!

 

The internet reservation is a secure site and I've had no problems with using my credit card. Past or present ... zarusoba

want to try to book at the majestic for early january - realize they mayu be full. but my question is: do i need to book the double if i have the intention of 'entertaining' a female guest for a short- or long-time?

There is no joiner fee, so you can bring as many cuties back to your room as you like. You will however only get 1 voucher for breakfast. No worries.

thanks. so i coud have booked a single room - i put it like that because they just told me they are full for my period 3-7 january.

 

any suggestions for an alternative that may not be as popular but still good value would be appreciated. i'm a newbie to the bkk scene (though not to pattaya).

dynasty grand is nice but I don't know if they will have their 1600 baht a night rate in feb. I stayed there in august and it was very nice. dynast inn is till open but under remodeling rate should be aorund 1299 baht a night, rooms are niot as nice as majestic but they are bigger, najestic suites rooms are slightly larger than the bed. warburi is down the street also around 1200 baht a night.

There's a place on Soi 4, right across from the 7-11 and Sin called the Heidleburg (sp?), around 1700 bht, flat screen tv, safe, pretty nice place.
