Which one to Phuket?

Recommended Posts

We went Bkk / Phuket with Air Asia waited 6 hours for flight, Air Asia girls new at check in gave us some garbage about King being at Airport disrupted schedule, but taxi man in Phuket says happens all the time, so it looks like if flight not full enough it no fly!!,

You can fly Bangkok airways from Pattaya(UTAPAO) to Phuket, check out their web site for prices schedules etc

A much better bet at almost any premium

I think it stops at Samui on the way where I personally would get off. Clue: in Phuket many prices ++ and tours in U.S.$!!!!!

problem is we are flying in from UK and would be stuffed if we pre book Air Asia and then get a delay on the inbound flight

Anyone else had delay problems with Air Asia??

the bangkok air flight is more expensive but easier going (small airport/plane etc) i dont think it stops at Samui any more. cheaper taxi fare utapao than bkk???

a little off topic but anyone that wants to fly

Gatwick / Phuket can get a very good deal with thomsonfly.

The problem is they only have 1 flight per week in either direction

monday GAT-PHU tuesday PHU-GAT.

Just checked some random dates and you can get a return inc

taxes for around £300..

I used them a couple of times to phuket about 8/9 years ago

and they are ok for the price.

eyecplUK, it may be worth your while flying to phuket first.
