LK Mansions

I'm going back to Pattaya and saw the LK Mansion website http://www.lkpattayahotel.com/mansion/index.html.

 

Looks a little to good to be true. Much cheaper than the other LK hotels. Anyone have experience here and know why its so much cheaper (a little wary).

 

Room Types Room Features Daily

Standard Standard amenities 600

Studio Standard amenities with Sofa corner 700

Superior Standard amenities with dinning table 800

Deluxe Standard amenities with kitchen corner 1,200

Grand Deluxe Pool view atmosphere, deluxe facilities with kitchen corner and private balcony 1,500

One Bedroom Deluxe facilities with separate bedroom and living room, kitchen corner and private balcony 2,000

 

Any insights or experience would be greatly appreciated. Looks great on the website. Maybe its just impossibly difficult to get to.

"All rates are valid from 01 March 2006 until 30 October 2006."

 

I guess the internet price is around 1000 now.

Tried to book w/them via email and their website...

 

no response...

 

Visited the buildings on my last visit... Rooms look nothing like the pictures on the internet, but for the price is appropriate to what they offer...

 

The pool is very small too...

Agree 100% they never reply to Web-site query or E-Mail,ignorant bastards,and again agree that rooms bear little relationship to website pictures!

I had the same experience and went to look in November - was looking for somewhere for my next trip (in 3 weeks ). The rooms are cheap and looked it, the whole place looked more Eastern European than Thai. However, they must be doing something right because they were fully booked for February and March even then.

 

Oh, and the lift by reception overloaded with only me and a receptionist in it. I know I'm big, but that was ridiculous - funny but ridiculous.
