Some great music posts here.....Thanks men...

I kept hearing this song in the 7-11 at the top of soi 6 on my 2008 trip. It was unique, haunting and beautiful. It stuck with me like curry breath. I had no idea who sang it or what the song was about, but I had to have it. Even though I am sure it was more painful than dry anal to many of the freelancers and bar girls, I sang and hummed the tune all over Pattaya. One gal finally figured out what I wanted... Prik Thai - Ruk Sam Sao...(and BBBJCIM)

I was lucky enough to see Prik Thai perform at the 'Elephant Round Up' festivities in Surin last year.

Bought their CD 'After Six.' Can upload it here if anybody wants it ???

When was it a hit roughly ??

I don't know when the song was released, But it was played a lot in beer bars a couple years ago anyway. I associate the song with Thailand. I think everyone knows this song, I never knew it's name though. It has mostly european lyrics but goes into a chorus something like "No one know my name, no one know my name, no one no one know my name"

I guess I should of said "Zombie" but someone already said that one.

In-Grid

I actually bought that so I should have known. I liked the accordian sound. BG's liked it for the words "you promised me" repeated a million times. There's a remix by benny b on the other side.

the first one i remember that was most popular was by johnny boy. all i remember is he was going on about loy talay (or similar); the there was loso's mae bai pantip which was no.1 all over pattaya one year; the one i've mentioned before and am STILL trying to get unsuccessfully despite many BM's help is Where are You by DJ Paffendorf. There must be literally dozens of versions and mixes of this song. most are crap techno bollox. I want the one played in pattaya bars. it's more of a rock edit. someone said it's called the radio edit but i got that and it's not. i had about 12 versions at one time none of them it. if anyone can help!!!!
