Would any board members know if you can fly to Cambodia or anywere else from Phuket.

To go most places in Thailand you'll have to go north. But you can go "anywhere else." Phuket is an international airport.

Bangkok Airways flies to Pattaya (U Tapao actually) and Samui from Phuket.

Looking at gthe Phuket airport website and checking all Deparyres the only places they depart to are:

BKK, Samui/Pattaya, Singapore, Kuala Lampur, Seoul, Taipei, Hong Kong. So you will probably need to fly through BKK for most places you would go unless you are going to one of these cities.

Thai nationals do not need a visa to visit Malaysia. There are many kinds of farang. If you are an American or Canadian or British (say) kind of farang you do not need a visa for a visit. But ask the airline or call the Malaysia embassy:

Hi,

Donnie Darko how old are you? Not trying to flame but Angkor Wat is one of the new 7 Wonders of the World. It is older than the Egyptian Pyramids.

Do you go to the Buddist Temples when you are in Tahiland? They are incredible!!

I am 38 and have had many, many years of screwing and drinking. I plan on seeing the temples and other touristy things in the daytime, then spend the rest of the night partying!!

Pattaya Rocks, but there is more to life.

The Egyptian pyramids pre-date Angkor Wat by around 3,500 years. :allright

Silkair which is owned by Singapore airlines run frequent flights between Pkt and Sin also.

Donnie, my time management on my next trip will allow me to spend a week with my Tg in phuket, have a 3 day rip to angkor, then i will go solo mongoring in udon, chiang mai and then down to pattaya for desert.

another week in patong, then home.

GFE , culture and mongering all in 1 trip.

Up to me.

ps. TG informs me that a 3 day all inclusive tour from phuket to angkor is a reasonable 8000bt .. ish

when you say your 4 hours away from phucket, you might be closer to another airport that might serve you better with your choice of destinations.

Krabi, surat thani (near to ko samui area), trang all have airports in your area and ill bet theres more.

good luck.
