Pathetic.

Desperately trying to advertise you place by posting uselessly.

Yes, we've seen your avatar and the link at the bottom of your posts. But, unless you post something of substance, it just look like a blantant attempt to hijack a thread.

I think any potential customers will see through your ploy and avoid your place like the plague.

Stop embarrassing yourself or don't you care anymore?

Hi ,jackjones ,your first paragraph read,

For those who like a high quality accommodation, for less the the price of some of the so called bargains that are constantly pushed on these forums, I can recommend Mosaik;

To me and to others that means its cheaper than others ,hence my use of the word "cheap",as for the quality, location and price ,well I covered that by using the word "personally" and as I believe that there are a number of GAY establishments around and that one or two boardies said that the staff (at least some of them)were Gay then I used a little artistic license,to put my point across.I have been civil in my post and reply you, on the other hand have been neither.I believe that as you yourself said,Sometimes, it better to keep schtum. At least that way you can fool some people into thinking that you're intelligent.

I am in dire need of people like you to stay away from my bar and I am happy to thread fuck/advertise or whatever else you would like to call it in such a manner that you wouldn’t even think twice about venturing out to my shithole.

My ploy is there for all to see, I am as transparent as one would get and I am sure other board members with an ounce of intelligence will see this and make their own decisions.

This line in your original post ‘for less the price of some of the so called bargains that are constantly pushed on these forums’ wasn’t required and for those who know your history understand exactly whose feathers you are attempting to ruffle, you Mr JJ ain’t nothing but a snake snide.

Be nice. Not all snakes are evil. They even eat rats.

Sorry maybe i should clarify my points in more detail too:

1. "Cheap looms not available."....actually meant that i enquired about the "standard" room which is the cheapest available. It seemed all the standard rooms were full and only 1 bed apartment was shown to me!

2. IT IS A GAY AREA

3. The bloke (which wasnt security) was gay. (even my tg commented on this)

4. The room is pretty basic. white bland walls(albeit a few nice artworks on walls)

minimal furniture (oh and since we are nit picking ....the bed was made up but the white bedding looked tatty and well used)...on a plus point the kitchen area was good.

5. 19000baht a month isnt cheap by any standards. In my opinion anyhow!!!!! i guess it just comes down to renting the actual "space" (i.e 2x 9500bt condos really)

kolobos was, for once, correct in writing that my initial post was with reference to a certain board member who insisted that his rooms were great value at 20000 baht per month and challenged anyone to find better value.

That post was one of many in response to that challenge.

That point has been made.

[/b]kolobos as a fellow business owner and possible acquaintance of the aforementioned person has decided to attempt to disrupt this thread for that reason.

I think anyone but a fool can see this.

Either way, it's no skin off my back as I am not connected with any business that I recommend.

Unlike the shameless self-promotion of some on this board.

You can't fool all of the people all of the time.

So, sinbinjack, you may now understand the meaning behind the heading.

As to my not being civil...my comment was in relation to your comment about Gay Mafia, which of course is nonsense.

Though, to be fair, the last comment probably wasn't aimed squarely at you.

So, let's hope no harm done. :sosad

I won't disagree with you.

20,000 baht per month for an apartment with a seperate bedroom with an en suite bathroom, not cheap by any standards? I'm glad you qualified that remark almost immediately. :)

Personally, I'll keep a place at that price even when I'm not in situ. IMO, it's even better value than anything I've posted previously..

Some people like to skimp on the quality of their accommodation, so that they can spend more money on drink and girls. Some just don't have a lot of disposable cash.

In the end, it all comes down to the individual. Some will be happy, some will not. Mine was only a suggestion.

Hope you can find the place that is right for you.

I NEED INFORMATION ABOUT A APPARTMENT BUILDING AND NOT SOME HOMOPHOBIC TRASHTALK !!!

hi

The OP was over 2 years ago & seemed to have developed into a personal handbag fight between BMs.

Now up to date I have recently returned from Pattaya after a months stay in the LK Metro area. I found myself traveling most days to tukcom & area,

(Sarah watch lady, thai food in tukcom basement, IT stuff, Tues/fri market, etc). noticed the Mosaik apartments & called at their office for info.

A very pleasant lady took me across the road to their other building about 50 yards away and let me see a couple of rooms there & then back to the main building for a look at one of those rooms. All were very impressive & I inquired about prices in feb. She said I could have low season prices & I booked from 9th feb to 9th mar, When I inquired about 3 months next winter she said I could get low season rates + discount for more than 1 month.

I had assumed it would be a simple task to book flights for those dates but discovered at only 9 weeks notice it was 4 hours on the net to get flights even close to my dates, eventually got arr 11th feb leave 12th mar, popped down to the office the next day & showed the lady the new dates, She just said no problem & adjusted the dates, As my arrival time was after office hours she said the security guys would have my keys & I could call into the office next day.

My deposit was 3000B to cover utilities, internet and cleaning & rate per month was 15000B for the deluxe studio.

Main building pros are lifts & keypad video camera at entrance, Cannot comment further until I stay there !

The location is ideal for me, equidistant to my favorite LK metro/soi diana/WS, all just a BBus away

As to the gay mafia area I believe it is not yet compulsory to visit, as they say here up to you!

hope this helps a little, sorry for the ramble :chogdee :clap2 :clap2

Go to their website for info and prices. I know a BM who stayed there and was quite happy with everything.

Mosaik has a thread on the "Addicts" board (apologies if posting another boards name is frowned upon) where there are a few reports from people who have stayed there.

The general concensus is that it's a reasonable place to stay which is located in a nice area the gayness of which did not effect their stay in any way.
