Beach View hotel

Hi Gentlemen and Ladies

 

After 12 long years i shall be returning to pattaya in august

 

In the past i stayed at the Beach View Hotel (soi 2).

 

IS IT STILL THERE ?? (The hotel website hasn't been updated since 2004)

 

any info would be much appreciated.

It was the first in town Pattaya hotel I stayed in also and I have fond memories of it and of numerous guests I invited to enjoy it with me. Alas it closed several years ago, was gutted, renovated and is now re-opened as an upper end hotel aimed, I think, at a well off BKK family clientele. I have since walked by, had a look in and checked the web site. It looks great but its way too expensive for a mongering trip to Pattaya. I'm sorry I can't remember the new name but I'm sure another BM can tell us and you can check out the web site.

Better off up the Soi at one of the Sabai properties nowadays IMHO.

Hi Guys

 

I also have fond memories of the Beach View Hotel stayed there 10 times

during the 90's but was so sad to see it decline into bad state.

It was the Beach View that introduced me to North Pattaya and soi 2 bars.

But now it has been completely renovated and not before time and has also

become much more expensive with all rooms inexcess of over 1,000 baht

per night.

Although sometimes when i walked past i am sure the curtains are the same

ones as the previous ones in Beach View.
