Hi Guys,

Seems to be a lot of talk about Curries which promted me to write about a curry house which has just opened up next door to my bar. The Indian Restaurant (Tandoori House) is new and was previously the Helicopter Bar. The food is great and not expensive. One of the best curries I have tried in Thailand.

Prices are good and it is clean place. The guy who runs it has spent a lot of money and effort to make the place look good with friendly staff. He has also within the last 4 days aquired a Thai European Chef and now has added a Western and Thai menue and opens for breakfasts. Not tried breakfast yet never get up early however it Opens 9am until 1am.

Worth a try

If it was the Helicopter Bar I know then turn into Soi Chaiyapoon from Soi Buakhao and immediately bear left up Soi Exzite, take the first left go to the end of this Soi and it should be straight ahead of you. You can also turn up this soi from Soi Buakhao but I can't remember it's name.

It is on Soi 12 in the middle between Beach Road and Second Road...next to the Lusie Bar where we started the crawl a week ago.

Indian food in pattaya is always costly. I ordered a masala dosa in an indian

restaurant somewhere near second road, they charged me 150 B for that.

Indian curry is good, but so is curry from Thailand's northern provinces. Is there authentic northern Thai curry to be found in Pattaya or Bangkok?
Actually those from the South can be very good too......Penang......okay it's Malaysian....and Massaman are 2 of my favourites. Okay, I like them because they are fattened up with coconut milk.
