Moonlight Serviced Apartments

Recommended Posts

In my quest to help you cheap...erm...financially challenged board members who prefer not to stay in squalid rooms, I introduce:

The Moonlight Serviced Apartments

650 baht per day. 590 baht for longer stays. All inclusive prices.

I noticed these apartments getting built. They look good both inside and out ,although the soi 17 is a bugger to walk down if your going to walking st. At approx 18,000 per month they are still on the steep side.

Across the road , i looked at the "junction" apartments last year.....absolutely huge, seperate kitchen, brand new build, 24hr bar etc etc.......only 13,000 per month.....didnt take it because it looked TOO big and about 1 month later the whole place shut down due to NO customers.

It may well be that this place will go the same way.

It's true that there isn't a large discount for long stays. That is probably due to the fact that the rates are all inclusive. i.e. No electricity or water bills. Plus there would be the normal daily room cleaning.

I am reasonably certain Moonlight won't go the same way as "junction. Certainly not in the short term.

Why didn't you make a post on these Junction Apartments?

At those prices, they certainly would have some custom from the board members. Maybe there was another reason for their closing.

As far as im aware the junction apartments are still owned by the same owners but they have just boarded the joint up through lack of interest in them.

They also own "several" key spot "people watching" bars on Walking St that are worth a fortune.

Maybe these moonlight serviced apartments will perk the area up and they will re-open them. Certainly the "dead end st" that was at this joint is now opened up and a huge complex has came from nowhere.

Looks like good value for the money and close to Walking Street. Do the rooms have in room safe?

The place looks like a good deal and I'll keep it in mind for any future friends coming to Pattaya. At the risk of stirring up this very controversial subject, a small safe can be purchased for between 600 and 700 baht. If your only staying for 2 weeks this work out to about 40 baht a day and even less if you sell it to a 2nd hand shop. Better yet have a friend who lives in Pattaya store if for you until your return trip.

Friend of mine, Pete will do that for his customers. It always helps to have 'friends' in Pattaya.

If you have something 'on topic' to the Moonlight, please feel free.

Otherwise, stay away.

I take it you have a limited sense of humor or non at all.

If it caters to Arabs it is not my racism or lack of that would be problem. I have had both good and bad experiences with Arabs in Pattaya, generally good, they are there for the same reason as me. Some have been bad, particular when alcohol is involved. At least in a bar it is easy to move on, not so easy to do when you are staying in the same hotel.

A small safe would be good in keeping a bg from walking out with your dosh but what about when you are not in the room. If it not bolted down then the whole thing can be taken. It has happened, this month I believe. Check pattayacitynews.net.

That's a strange post there btm1735.

Apart from anything else, I have never come across an aggressive Arab(from an Arab state) in Pattaya, or even seen one particularly drunk.

Can't say the same for Caucasians(English, Russians, Scandinavians......) or the French Algerian/Moroccans. It's possibly those you have come across.

Take a look through the local news outlets, can you find a single violent incident involving an Arab?

I'm not sure why you even thought to mention Arabs.

I'll repeat... So if you're a racist ...., stay away.

What is even stranger, is that you even mentioned "pulled off an Arab website" from the get go!!!!!!
