You could try the LEK hotel ,They have a pool large enough to swim in ,Just don't eat their buffet.

Unusual comment regarding their food, usually posts praising their food are submitted? :D

the buffet is quite good at the Lek, good value too, only problem i found is i always get a dose of the shits after a few days of having brekkie there :ang2 .

Last 2 trips i gave the brekkie buffet a miss and worked a treat, no squirting :chogdee

Back on topic, The pool at the Sandy is probably the best IMO although nothing special, if you consider a pool a must then all 3 arnt really that great, the Dynasty is tiny, basically a tub on the roof.

I stayed at the LEK for 4 months (2 different stays) and swam every day right next to the buffet line so I saw how the food was treated ,it was never covered, ever, and no one even shooed the flying insects away food was handled by people who did not look to be at all hygienic and I personally found it repulsive. There are better places in Pattaya to eat . I still like the hotel for its (04-05) Prices( now stay longer each trip so use a condo), Pool and Location but could not in good conscience recommend the Buffet.

Many of those praising the buffet prefer quanity to quality. :allright

Back to the OPs question. If one is only going to swin occasionally then you could just stay at any of the hotels and then take a short walk to Mike's Mall and swim on their rooftop pool.

Not on your list but Ma Maison has a decent pool. It is on the ground level just behind the bar/Eating area. Just pop in there when you are walking down Soi 13 to check it out.

I have only stayed in the regular rooms.. they are OK but I think the Whitehouse rooms are a better value. I am told the deluxe rooms are much better.

AA Residence has 2 pools. The rooftop one is quite large, but you have to go to the ground floor to access the elevator to it from the new wing. There's a glass door to it. You can see it. You just can't get to it. TIT.
