Hey guys what the current position with smoking in bars, go gos etc at the moment, has it been outlawed like nearly every where else or are there still places where we can drink and smoke at the same time, Christ I cant have a beer with a fag.

It should not be a problem for you. Whilst ashtrays are scarce, ask and you will be supplied with a receptacle. I can only think of one or two places where you may be asked to go upstairs, or use a special room.

Most bars allow smoking now but there are still some that don't.

There may be no ashtrays but someone will soon give you a receptacle.

There are bars that allow it and those that don't. You'll just have to ask I'm afraid.

It can be very hit and miss some places take you ciggie away from you when you walk in and others like Chris said will let you smoke and give you an empty bottle.

we wouldn't take away your cig only ask that you smoke it outside.
