Dont drink and drive !

Hi Guys , just thought I would post these pics of a little incident that took place on my way home from the village Bar last night ! ,

 

This is what can happen when you have a badly loaded van , wet conditions , a steep hill and a belly full of ale ! .

 

Amazingly when I went back to retreive my van the next moring with a group of freinds that helped me put it the right way up , it started first time and there was'nt a scratch on it ! ,

 

Who said french cars are crap !

 

So ,take my advice dont drive in the wet !!!

Ha ha , Yeah ! that really is my van , even the wing mirror tucked away nicely and poped back out without a mark on it !

 

And no , Rambo , the Karaoke gig is saturday night ! we were just getting warmed up for it , Oh and by the way we sorted the visual thing out and everything is set for a good night , at least I wont have to drive home this time

Living well is the best revenge, not attacking someone for his choices, good or bad. If you explain the repercussions to him rather than just insulting you may get your point across and change his decision making or outlook. I take it you have never done anything wrong in your life aswell?

I fully understand the implications of Drinking and driving and it is not something I do normally ! this was just one of those occasions that escalate from one drink to a few more !

 

The road home is not a public highway it is a little used Mountain track with hardly any traffic , and none at that time of the morning !

 

O.k maybe to some I am an idiot or drunken asshole but I certainly did not think I was 'bragging ' about it !

I just thought I would post this here as it is the 'funny stories ' section !

 

Oh yes , I forgot about the bags of weed popping out the back window when the Van hit the ground but Amazingly that 'popped ' back in just as easily !

Did you get the vehicle serviced while it was on its side? It would have been a good time to replace the muffler.

Common sense says that you should always arrange a lift home after drinking and here is a light hearted clip that proves the point.

Ah ! Those were the days ! when I could get drunk and get a Taxi home ! but unlike most of the bordies here I dont have the luxury of being able to just stick my hand out and get a bus or Taxi ,

 

As you can see from my pic , my drive home is on a little used mountain track , I am not a fan of DD this is just one of those things that happened ! , it's not big and it's not clever !
