Thai Boxing Gloves

I have a work colleague who is heavily into martial arts , in particular Thai boxing.

 

He is asking me to purchase for him some “Fairtex” boxing gloves,

 

Is this the same Fairtex as in the well advertised Pattaya gym?

 

Any suggestion on where to buy?

 

Are the prices a good bargain in Pattaya?

 

What is the typical price in Pattaya for boxing gloves?

 

would be grateful for any advice or opinions.

Can get the novelty plastic ones almost anywhere.

 

The pro series can be found through the boxing clubs.

 

Prices are all pretty much the same as anywhere. Thai's also have internet so they know the global market value.

 

Thai Kombat Group at Darapan 3 Kaotalo Soi 8 - 93/123 Moo 11 is a good place to start. Not promoting them but they seem like decent guys there.

 

A good place top start but have a look around. You'll meet some good people in the process.

There's a shop that sells all types of boxing accessories on 2nd rd just before the "Made in Thailand" bar complex,coming from the direction of the Apex hotel!

There's a big Fairtex training center in North Pattaya, where 2nd & 3rd(?) Roads come together. They have a pro shop that stocks all sorts of gear and I picked up some things for a colleague back home when I was here in May. Depending on what they have in stock they may have to order it from Bangkok, but it usually arrives in about 3 days; that's what happened in my case.

Pattaya second and third rds do not come together. I think if you go towards second Rd on Pattaya Nua (North Rd)...Fairtex is on the right side, before the Dolphin.
